Having watched the Raiders over the passed few weeks they play a fast paced game, not scared to throw the ball around [to their Golden Point detriment:)] and I think it is a style that will have us running around like chooks with our heads cut off.

A don't think the make up of our team will matter as we don't have 17 players smart enough to play NRL footie

I'm not sure Crappy can pick his nose - his bench selections have been pretty abysmal and he has his favourite players for sure. As Mr Gump would say when the team is named on a Tuesday - its like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna get......................... :arghh:

Owen Cunningham (Manly) Dallas Johnson (Cowboys) Alan Tongue(Canberra) Michael Luck were all small locks.
They all played above there weight and made reputations for themselves as fearless workhorses.
As we know Cunningham and Johnson both wore the Queensland jersey and Luck got called into the squad at one time.
Jazz has those same qualities with a utility value like Tongue.
Do not think his small frame should be a concern i.m.o.

As for the team.
Would like to see the St George team be restored as it should of been the team to face the Panthers.
But Cappy knows best.

Never change a winning team ding dong Cappy.

Toopi is King

Could I be so blunt and say "who the fuck cares anymore what the team comprises of, unless Cappy is sent packing"

6 Again

1.Fusitua
2.Lolohea
3.Ayshford
4.Kata
5.Allgood- fucked if I know what this guy has done to the Coaching staff, he is worthy of starting every game.
6. Hingano-If there is anychance that he is the future he has to be tried right now ala Morgan and Milford.
7.Shaun Johnson
8. Vatuvei-completely over the current rotation, it either goes really horrendously bad or fantastically magnificant, worth a shot though.
9.Bully-Jazz has been commendable but there are distribution and vision issues.
10. Sipley - Just got a feeling that he will offer more given the opportunity.
11. Hoffman-is the best hole runner but shit passes and hospital passes don't make him effective, put him near Shaun Johnson.
12.Manners - I was wrong, Im completely of the opinion its his most effective position now.
13. Thompson- I think we will get more bang for our bucks and he is a far better all rounder than the X and the new Captain.

14.Jazz- he seems to be the best utility we have.
15. Matulino- Im running out of patience with him,Ive always thought he was a better left hand 2nd rower than a Prop and now it seems he is as much the problem as anyone that has been at at the Club for the last odd 20yrs.
16. Lillyman- Same as above, 4 or 5 good games leading up to Origin is about all we've ever got out of him but even then he isn't a shade on a half decent Prop that can go forward forward and not reverse forward.
17. Lane- Just sick of seeing the same old shit, in a dominant Pack this guy had Superstar written all over him.

I'd pick that exact team and for those same reasons, nice work.

Tough on Jazz. He's been very good.

Xfactor

Sam Tomkins greatest talent was completely wasted at fullback, and in my humble opinion, so is Loloheas.
Sam, like Tui, was a sharp thinking stepper with wicked acceleration who could have made a huge difference if he had played inside Johnson.
If you want to see Tui in his element, re-watch the match winning try he set up against the Roosters. With brutal acceleration and a perfect sense of when and where to step, he turned the Roosters inside out to send Roger Tuivasa-Sheck over the line. This is what Tui does and he does it brilliantly..as good as if not better than Johnson.
He can't do this from fullback nor from the wing as the last player to receive the ball if it doesn't get dropped before it gets to him!
In the last two games Fusitua played fullback (Dragons and Tonga) he showed enough to excite me and he has much more chance of breaking the line than Tui imo.
Tommys time is up! Thanks for the great service crazy-eyes but the modern game has moved on from you. We all know Cappy is going to reinsert Vatuvei as soon as he is ready so it's pointless omitting him from your preferred team, or positioning him elsewhere.
Picture this; 2 insanely fast, ridiculously wicked side-steppers fragmenting defensive lines on every attacking raid. Almost every time Shaun shapes to run he collapses the oppositions structured defensive plays. They have NO FUCKEN IDEA where he is going to run and it's a weapon we don't use often enough. Imagine having 2 of him!
It may not be textbook footy...but the Warriors are not a textbook team!
Clearly we have defensive issues but our current attacking structures are both impotent and glaringly predictable.
Fragment the defense, turn them around, support the ball runner....and watch the points come!
As our defense appears to be unfixable...scoring ALOT more points is our only hope.
As for team selection (just to stay on topic) all I want to see is
1-Fusitua
6-Lolohea
7-Johnson
9-Luke with Jazz to spell him 15-20 minutes either side of half-time.
and the 3 fittest strongest forwards we have on the bench.

Iafetas Kickstand Wang

1 David Fusitua
2 Jonathan Wright
3 Matthew Allwood (Kata will be suspended, WTF was he thinking - nearly ripped Sowards neck off, and his beard too)
4 Blake Ayshford
5 Manu Vatuvei - need his go forward
6 Tuimoala Lolohea
7 Shaun Johnson
8 Jacob Lillyman
9 Jazz Tevaga - as much as Jazz is going great, its a sad indictment on the club that a bloke who was in the top 3 hookers in the NRL is now relegated to a bench role, and went from being a Kiwis foundation player to being dropped - the club reeks with fucking mediocrity
10 Ben Matulino
11 Bodene Thompson
12 Ryan Hoffman (c)
13 Simon Mannering

Issac Luke
John Palavi
Shaun Lane
Topafoa Sipley

Fuck off grass cutter Gubb, fuck off no vision Leuluai

Actually morgan and Milford both spent a couple of years at fullback before moving into the halves.
See that's the way I feel about lolohea- they need to give him his shot- he's done his apprentiship he's good to go.
No need to rush ata.
