Im originally from Wellington & have a thing for the Phoenix
as well as the Warriors.

Great win tonight in the finals of the A- League

Tim Brown.. a slow goal past the Sydney FC Goal keeper was supurb.

The Phoenix are into the semi-finals now.. Hope Auckland gets behind them.

It was a great win. They made hard work of it but got there in the end. You can't clock off in any sport when you have your nose infront.

A bit disappointed in the crowd size for a play off game. They had been talking this game up in the media saying it was a great day in Wellington and hoping for a large walk up crowd of around 20000. In the end I think the crowd numbered somewhere around 10000.

Don't think so Buck. The new owners put out a challenge to wellingtonians after the game at eden park, asking for more support or games would go on the road. Supporters responded and they had a great turn out. Really thought they would have once again turned up for the play offs. Imagine the crowd when the Warriors get a home semi this year.
