One thing I've learned with this competition when there is a rumour basically where there is smoke there is fire.

I wouldn't be surprised if he moved on with the club being based away from home for 3 years.

It would be appealing going to the Dolphins as the Recruitment Manager as you are starting from a clean slate.

For the Warriors it would be a big blow with us looking like we could be positioning ourselves for some signings come November 1st.

I'd expect he'd be leaving if its true as he'd want to build their squad for 2023.

A shame after the Warriors gave him a job after he was banned. He has been here for a few years but he had to rejig the cap and was talking about getting to a point where the squad is where he would like it to be. So it would be a job not finished. Something we have seen a lot over the years.

If it ends up being true it will be a tough blow with us based at Redcliffe. We were worried about some of our players a few (Nikorima, Taylor) are likely to want to be based in Queensland instead of returning to Auckland. Also a blow with what the club has been through especially after Gould not being able to finish his plans.

Bennett talks like he wants what is best for the game. But he does what is best for Bennett first, usually poaches players he's coached before well except Newcastle cause he left them in a hole. Warriors sacrificed a lot for the code ah well screw that I need to get my club in order.

Allowing him to leave really leaves us exposed and open to be royally fucked over!! This isn’t a smart move at all having the guy that is doing our recruiting jump ship mid way through a rebuild of the roster.
