I know my old man will be watching the Rugby ...was working with him over the last week got to talking how good the NRL is esp this season would have to be the best footy Comp in the world, he didn't agree (but then he doesn't watch more than sport news highlights etc) ..so we argued the point Ruggers Vs NRL /league ..

Now at one point as a lad I played for three different Rugby teams some seasons Club/School/rep ... so I did once like the game(but had I had a chance to play league I would have) IMHO it far too ref/rule controlled these days and has bastardized the game for ratings over Ruck/maul reffing letting the game run of old

Like I say to all Rugby fans ...how exciting can a game be where the Comp winners are either Cantab or the AB's ? I find it fucking borings as paint dry when the AB's dump 30-40 points on a so-called top team in a BIG Game(not that I watch more than a few minutes at a time of it anymore

The core of sport is competition ... NRL has that in spades

Lets Gone Warriors was a sign put up when the Warriors weren't going to make the 8 and were choking, someone had obviously added the 'ne' after the sign was originally created. I always thought it was noticeable that the NE was in heavier darker print

If the Panthers try to change their style of play from the ill disclined push the limits, high risk style they have, Kearney will have them.

Structured football is where the Warriors live these days.

When you look at our momentum comming into this, our four wins and one narrow loss were forged by playing our game faster.

We sped up against the Knights, quite a few errors came at that speed, but we also strangled them.

I keep saying it, but we are ready, I believe it, we've been rehearsing for this for a month, while Penrith have been trying to reinvent themselves thanks to Gould.

We only really need to stick at what we do well....and that is a highly mobile game ( the Panthers are more mobile) but where we have them is taking control both sides of the ball ( Penrith are way behind us in off the ball footy).

I'm expecting to see the Warriors pull out new stuff tonight ( watch the dummy hole runners show up like in the early rounds) rather than changing the plan though....it will be more a case of bringing what they do in training and actually running it tonight with full polish.

The boys must be feeling like they did in round one against the Rabbits. Its the same team, with potentially Beale added.

Round one as Blake Green said ' I didnt know how we were going to go...no body did... you can train over and over....but no one knows how a new team is going to go till you play ...thats why I was thrilled with the way we played'.

Well we know now how we go, and we know we are good enough, they say finals is a new competition and for some of these Warriors it literally is.

Because it’s the Warriors.
Many years of expecting to win but losing and then many years of expecting to lose but winning.
It’s what we do. Low expectations, seem to do the team wonders. I’m trying to help.
It’s why I love the warriors. You just don’t know what to expect and when you do expect something, they go against you.

I am so amped for this today. Just had a big fry up breakfast, watched the footy show I taped from Thursday. Expected nothing mentioned about the Warriors, but pleasantly surprised when Stirlo picked the Warriors, and the panel, except Erin. C'mon Warriors!
