I think I am ok now we have Arthurs on loan. I don't like the idea of Aitken moving back and forth

I’m ok with what we’ve got in the centres. Berry is an exciting prospect but will need some game time to flourish. Vailea looks like he’s in the same boat as well.

Pompey like many other Warriors before him dropped off after signing a new contract. I expect him to be better this year. Arthurs has 1st grade experience and possibly a bit of talent that hasn’t been developed yet. Aitken and Montoya are there as backup options.

Wing is more a concern to me, after the starters you’ve got an injury prone player with limited league experience in Ratuva and Kosi who I think is going to need a couple more years work to be 1st grade ready.

He can but he lacks the speed to be a good finisher for me. Mind you as long as Johnson stays fit whoever is on the right wing should get plenty of tries, it’s been a feature of Johnson’s play last few seasons.

I'm excited about our centres and their potential development if we are strong elsewhere.

For me everything hinges on those inside them. Hooker, and having quality halfs that stay fit are the make or break for me - everything else will develop off that. and if we are ever going to crack it, it needs to. Berry, Vailea, Katoa and some of our young props need to be success stories.

It would also be nice if suspensions don't rule our season, but I fear suspension and injury will have its part to play in 2022.

With Berry being a pretty good defender and with Aitken either in the opposite defence position or one in helping the other centre , we should be sound defence wise ( hopefully)
Arthur's I think is a pretty handy defender too if I'm thinking right.
Attack wise with Shaun Johnson and Walsh able to just cut guys out and put balls on the chest of any edge players we might not need guys as creative as the Hikus etc.
But yeah I'm generally not that concerned , but it might be were we get beaten idk.

i don't think they that weak jesse is very proven centre and the rest of the jnr centres improve with every game what makes you think they weak?

montoya n berry n Dallin Watene-Zelezniak were some our better backs all season last year ?
