Some high traffic/volume Warriors related threads are heavily moderated, such that any OT posts, jokes, funny pics, and posts that could lead to an influx of offtopic posts are generally deleted.

This leads to a somewhat sanitised social environment.

So we bring you this thread. Anything related to the warriors goes. Hope to see it become a chat thread where anything about the warriors goes. Take it offtopic as you wish. People who do not want to see such posts need not visit this thread.

Since everything pretty much goes, can i please request that you all play nice, and treat others with respect. Posts personally attacking people is not tolerated anywhere on this site, nor this thread.

Additionally, please dont let this thread get to a point where information is posted on here, which would be better served in one of the main threads.

Good thread. Don't see it stopping other topics drifting off topics, but at least we have somewhere now that we can just chat/debate/argue about whatever.

Users have the ability to post in this thread, so why create extra work for the mods by posting in there? As stated this thread exists now, so lets all endeavour to keep the recruitment discussion and rumour thread clean atleast.

Totally serious about revoking peoples posting rights in that thread if they do so now, as noone listens to the notices we post up every few pages. It just falls on deaf ears so its time for action now.

It works trust me. I had a post all written then saw your warning about needing to delete more posts; I double checked it and decided it was safer to delete it. I browse this site everyday if you remove my posting privileges my life would start becoming productive.

Yeah, but for every person it works for (and I suggest it only worked because it was a fresh warning) there will be another who says "screw this, I'll go elsewhere".

Trying to keep it clean is one thing, but basic human conversation will always slowly drift from the original topic. It's like trying to stop the flow of water and if we end up with a bunch of previously active posters no longer posting then what will become of the site?

I hope this thread works and has the desired result. Time will tell.

Why is it so hard for people to create new threads themselves if they know the conversation is going in a totally different direction? We are all adults, why rely on the mods to do that for you?

This site was always intended to be focussing on quality not quantity. This site's fb page has over 11k likes, but we never advertise the site on there. Can you imagine if every thread was filled with 'warriors 4 life brah' 'fuck the haterz, im a warrior till i die' 'fuck off bandwagoners, dont criticise the team. #igotzdafaith' etc...itll slowly become like all previous iterations of Warriors forums. This site is focussed on quality not quantity. People are allowed to go anywhere they want. We are simply asking to keep the warriors high traffic and volume threads clean. It makes life easier for everyone, and lots of members on here appreciate that.

I hope this thread works and has the desired result. Time will tell.

I think people want their hilarious comments to reach the widest audience possible. So naming them into the high traffic forums is the best way to achieve this... I've resorted to moderating myself. I'll post my witticism and then delete it 30 min later...

But this idea is good too. Maybe k hunt needs his very own off topic thread so that we can keep our off topic gems kind of on topic, if that makes any sense..

You are actually a good example of how the moderation works on here. If anyone here knows moderation its you. You were given like 7/8 friendly notices before we banned you when you were trolling. Not sure if back then we resorted to making life difficult for you with the site taking forever or being rerouted to other sites if you typed in this sites URL...but you have taken your chance that was given to you and have been a model member on here since being back. And we appreciate that.

Harlz is another. And these guys are model and valauble posters on here now. It doesnt always start like that though. Existing members in a sense pave the way for how new members should post. Harlz can tell you how bad life can be under moderation lol
