I remember the group, but was a bit young to remember the song exactly. While I was at intermediate Feel Me Flow by Naughty By Nature was massive:

Some of my other favorites I discovered over the years when I was older are:

Old school hip hop still does it for me, would much rather listen to something upbeat than moody and depressing.

I feel like treach is so underrated as a rapper- he never seems to get a mention but naughty by nature were massive in my day- game changer.

Eminen the biggest rap artist in the world famously given his opening by black Rap Royalty Dr Dre.

Reminds me a lot of Elvis who came out singing black music, gospel and Rock and roll to be more palatable to the US market than other artists like Chuck Berry.

Most serious Academics who study music including Rap acknowledge that the hegemony who control American music were anti black Rap that did not contain tropes like gangs and blacks killing blacks, most white music producers were not interested in black rap that did not contain gang and crime stereotypes.

Like I said, this has been seriously analysed by American academics as just another vehicle for controlling the racist narratives about blacks.

Anyway, Eminem is the white guy who Dr Dre weaponized to change Raps image.

Meantime if you follow social commentary a lot of white Americans post racists post crap about how Eminem is the only artist who you can understand the lyrics.

Well that is bullshit coz those of us exposed to other languages understand black rap artists accents perfectly well.

Eminem is a wicked rapper though- holds the record for fastest ever rap verse- something like 11 syllables a second.
Check out the 3rd verse about 3 minutes in (just after mike Tyson knocks him out 😂 )
Very talented and clever man.

Great Rapper sure, possibly the best. Him or Tupac for mine but I prefer ole pac man for his poetry. I prefer Eminem for his word tricks.

Just watched the Broncos and Dolphins trials.
Brocos looked like a bunch of showpony kids, while the Dolphins looked like the dreary Dragons of yesteryear.

Big bodies, short 10 and slow as molasses gang tackles that need a traffic cop to sort out.

Typical ugly Wayne team, slowing the play the ball and dragging the game back into the 80s.

Going to get penalised until the refs give up. Keep the scores down, at least.

The decrepit Dragons came 10th, it's ugly but effective enough when you have a huge talent deficit.

We need to protect Shaun Johnson and Addin Fonua-Blake, lest we get sucked down into the spoon race. Especially with our hellish first half draw. Every win before June will be a stay of execution.

Th first Maori national anthem, the second is ten guitars.
Woken up to watch test rugby at 2am one night, my dad told me 10 guitars WAS the national anthem.

I actually believed him for 6 years until I was 15, when I got into an argument with a bunch of Pakega kids at school.

I asked him about it when I got home, but he just looked at me like I must be the idiot son of the milkman or some other door knocker. It was a look I got a lot.

Love Positive K. He basically rewrites the same song a couple of times. That was one of my playing B-ball jams along with 6 Minutes of Pleasure and Around the Way Girk by LL.

Highly recommend the Sinead O'Connor movie Nothing Compares, one of the best music documentaries I've ever seen.

Love Sinead. I do not want what I haven't got is one of my favourite albums ever.
Wall to wall bangers!
Black Boys on Mopeds, Last Day of our Aquaintance, Jump in the Rver, Nothing Compares to You, Emperor's New Clothes, I am Stretched on your Grave!

Yeah bro love her reggae album too, and celtic one. Her last couple are some of her best, shame not as many people heard them after she got cancelled for the Pope incident.

Its really clever that its actually him doing the female voice on I Got a Man. Love early LL as well.

Whodini Magic's Wand is another classic feel good track that I often play. Skee-lo did some good stuff in the 90s too.

I'd love him to own Manly. How apt.
The wanker didn't have a bean even then.
Heyzeuss if you are playing at the Manly Leagues club for a gig you are on the way down. He said that because his "friend: Elton had bought Watford maybe he could by Manly.
The fecker was serious.
Last I heard of the prick was when he was hanging out in Cambodia chasing kids. He wasn't the only British rock star doing that.

I really like Mantronix 88 In Full Effect, and all Eric B and Rakim
