Noteworthy omissions:
Mason Tonks and Jordan Baldwinson.

So it seems the rotational policy (assume this is still in effect) applies to the imports too - surprising, but good!

They didn't perform well during the game I hear, with there pedigree they should of banged a few of the parra forwards - they need more game time to get used to the speed of the NYC IMO.

The propping rotation looks good a solid balance there.

Another strong line up on paper, a few experienced heads in there, hoping the result goes our way.

Did they tend to rotate the lineup last season, or would you consider this a dropping situation? Can't really remember how they managed it last year.
I was honestly expecting these two English lads to dominate the NYC. Maybe further down the track they will.

The best players didn't get rotated out unless it was up to the Vulcans. Guys like James Taylor, Fusitua, Kata, Lolohea, Vete, Faitala mariner etc were picked every week. But there was a turn over at the start of the season for the 3 bench prop/2nd rowers for a while last season. I think it is difficult to get a read on how good the guys are at this age so they all get a shot for the first Month or so and then settle in to see who has the goods.

Everyone is ripping the FG team apart on here but lets not forget the Young Guns suffered another loss, which from all accounts really was a 2nd half fade out. More questions down here as well as the FG; I honestly thought we fielded a good team on paper with a few old heads in there - hoping for something better this week

Well its all part of Matt Elliotts plan to have all 3 grades playing from the same sheet. I'll give him an A+ on that so far...

Spoke with one of the U20's boys last night. He said Stacey Jones is way laid back compared to Akkers. Reckons Jones hasnt yelled at them once. Thought it was funny because he reckons if that was Akkers he would have blasted them big time about the last 2 games. Also surprised him because he thinks they deserved copping one after their last game...

Has the potential to set a dangerous precedence - one where failure is, essentially, tolerated…

If the boys think they deserve to get ripped, and they don't, it is the nature of human psychology that, sub-consciously, one begins to allow oneself to relax and become complacent.

I have heard mixed stuff about Akkers... Some say he is strange and
But I forgot he is the "greatest NYC coach" ever - coached the greats like Toka Likiliki, Omar Slaimankhel, John Palavi, Konrad, Shaun Johnson - all good, polished seasoned first graders.

But seriously..

It is a real young 20s team - guys like Roach, Brady Abbey are future stars.
But they have been average so far. Still at high school.

The Warriors are building naturally for NYC.....just like every other team bar Canberra do in the NYC.
They have a number of definciies both as a team and individiually.

Past Warriors teams relied on their physical dominance...other NYC teams are getting bigger and faster (and browner).

The 20's are about getting experience, winning the trophies is secondary.

Wasnt having a stab at Jones. Just thought Id share the senior players thoughts...

Suppose there is a few senior players left over - not much though.
Probably only senior player would be James Taylor & Mason Lino, maybe Kouma Samson.

Sam Lisone only played one year but would be up there too.

Anybody no who the captain is
