Yeah Paul Tuli is beastly. Gutted he wasn't selected.

Everyone seems to love this Paul tuli- I guess this is the first example of a talented local missing out to the English imports.

Paul Tuli just looks brutal. especially for a u20s player. He looks like a 30 year old mongrel mob leader.
Footy wise, definitely a little raw.

Paul was not quite ready going on trial form, he ran way to upright, had dropsies and seemed not quite ready as a prop. Mason Tonks looked a gun in the trial I saw.

Paul is a big boy, look like a half Mongrel Mob and half viking, looks intimidating but nowhere near a playing prop like Lisone or a Vete yet. Im confident he will be though

So who wants to give us all a run down on these guys? Almost an entirely new team.

Is this the first time ever that a Warriors U20's side has featured two White boy starting Props ?

I was thinking about making that comment, there have been a few come through the ranks. Both of these two have a lot of talent anyway.

Well I guess it won't hurt him to be made to work a bit harder for it then.
Probably been a walk up starter for every side he's ever trialled for by the sounds of it.
Looking forward to seeing him play when he gets his chance.

1. Brad Abbey - Great Talent, been compared to Josh Dugan in playing style, he can carve teams up this kid
2. George Edwards
3. Lafu Feagaiga
4. Ken Maumalo
5. Braxton Stanley
6. Nathaniel Roache - Standout school boy, great skills and good vision
7. Mason Lino
8. Jordan Baldwinson
9. Kurt Robinson
10. James Taylor
11. Michael Ki
12. Matiu Love-Henry - old fashioned hard nut
13. James Bell - dynamo, has developed a good step and will be an excellent lock, will pick up a few tries, kind of menzies like

14. Kouma Samson
15. Semisi Tyrell
16. Toafofoa Sipley
17. Mason Tonks - Great prospect, stood out in the trials and will have a go all day long.
18. Bunty Afoa - looks awesome, cant wait to see him in top grade, aggressive and surprisingly strong. Once he bulks up an extra 3 - 5 kg he will plow through defensive lines

im really keen to see what impact Ken Maumalo will have this year, I know we went after Lokoko from the Eels and this guy is a similar type build in the same position.

Thought we could just reply and add in bits and pieces. I have added a couple below.

1. Brad Abbey - Great Talent, been compared to Josh Dugan in playing style, he can carve teams up this kid
2. George Edwards
3. Lafu Feagaiga
4. Ken Maumalo
5. Braxton Stanley - Union convert, nephew of All Black Joe Stanley, big wraps on him but has struggled with injuries though.
6. Nathaniel Roache - Standout school boy, great skills and good vision
7. Mason Lino - Half back last year at u20s, good kicking game will look to develop defensively and push for a spot in the NSW cup side.
8. Jordan Baldwinson - Was the highest touted junior in Engalnd, prefers to play left hand second row, see how he goes at prop.
9. Kurt Robinson
10. James Taylor - Built in the mould of Gallen, stocky maybe 5 ft 11, but goes all day, runs great lines and has a high work rate.
11. Michael Ki
12. Matiu Love-Henry - old fashioned hard nut
13. James Bell - dynamo, has developed a good step and will be an excellent lock, will pick up a few tries, kind of menzies like

14. Kouma Samson

Still eligible mate, haven't heard his name in a few weeks so I dunno why he isn't there.
Last I spoke with him (mid October) he was still injured. Think he had knee surgery. I'll see what I can dig up.

ramraider78 is he still with the Hawks? Only lives down the road so you'd think he would...

Could just about ask if it's the first the the juniors have started 2 white boys full stop.

Its a shame they dont air the 20's away games, I'm really keen to see how Tonks and Baldwinson go. I hope they justify keeping two kiwi's out of the team lol;)

While living in oz I only seen Pauly for M/east last year on holiday and he went pretty good, cant say if hes better or not then the boys
picked either. My young fella is debuting this year for a club here and we hope hes playing when they play the Warriors. As for 2 white boy props
as a poly boy growing up Id rather play polys then the white brothers, they are a different tough.I to hope the pommy boys are good cos I see alot
of boys running around with other nrl clubs and it makes you wonder why.

Or a local needing to improve to be better than an import to gain a position in the team.

That George Edwards played fullback for Kura in the Fox last year. He was real impressive for mine, didnt realise he was U20. Will be keeping an eye on him. Was probably Kura's best player.
