This obviously isn't an NRL deal but it seems like a pretty unique deal in Australasian sport at present. Buddy Franklin has signed (or is expected to sign) a 9 year, $10 million contract with the Sydney Swans. The money isn't overly insane, it's more the time period...crazy.
That is a long time. Either they plan on trading him at some stage for an enormous transfer fee, or they are just shit scared of ever playing against him...

Was told that Phil Gould offered Dallin Watene-Zelezniak a 10 year contract only a month or so ago. Gould himself was actually at Dallin's family table trying to sell it to him...

Hearing that A Reynolds not wanted by Souths, looking at Eels. And in the other direction Hopoate has apparently had a couple of meetings with Souths management

The only reason Souths would be "willing" too part with Reynolds is if they are under salary cap pressure and need to free up some money to try and keep their forward pack together.

now that is a player i would throw some money at. A Reynolds and Shaun Johnson as a halfs combo. Will still need some more forward firepower but that would be a great spine with Tomkins and TL

^ some good players still off contract, not that the warriors need more depth for the vulcans but Tom Symonds and Tim Browne strike me as pretty useful forwards to have.

Could maybe use another centre/wing if Ropo retires, Taukeaho leaving and Peyroux not up to much...

Tim Browne
He goes pretty well, to many in front of him to get a real opportunity at the Doggies but like what I
seen of him.
Siosaia Vave has a bit of first grade experience and Matt Bell is a solid first grader.
Would be good value props.

Has anyone heard who the fast warrior is who's on his way to rabbits land ?
Been trying to get some word on whether it is Fish but he's in Tonga on holiday at the moment and I cant reach him. Think he was offered a contract by the Rabbits when he was still playing U20's. Sister doesnt think he has.

Reckon it is Viliami. He's not been offered another contract with us. Who knows???

If Adam Reynolds is talking with Paramata the Warriors could do themselves a huge favor by offering him the half role number one ahead of any other half at this club.

That frankly might require releasing S.J or Townsend , if so.....so be it and flick Locke while you're at it.

Reynolds has the skill package we need to do the biz better than any half we halve imo.

Looking through that list and being reminded that Mose is off to St Helen's suggests that Elliot really rates some of what we have in the go forward dept or he just out and out missed the most obvious signing forward wise that he could have made.

Packer for Masoe.....that's an upgrade.

The edge of insanity
Warriors should definately be chasing Reynolds , whatever it takes . He'll pay it back with interest. Jamie Lyon for a year or two would be worth consideration too imo.

now that is a player i would throw some money at. A Reynolds and Shaun Johnson as a halfs combo. Will still need some more forward firepower but that would be a great spine with Tomkins and TL

Reynolds long and short kicking game, with Shaun Johnson running off him and Tomkins chiming in from the back... boom... It'd be awesome too, because Reynolds would be overlooked for origin at the warriors so we could keep our spine together all season ;)
