They have Brookes, Douihi, Staines and Laurie all off contract at the end of this year. Potentially a lot of movement and money for them to navigate. But I don't think they want to continue to mess around with their halves, it's what we've done for the last 4 years and have not had any results playing musical chairs

Apparently the knights have signed Lachlan Miller and the sharks are going to release him!! He’s in their top 30 and can play from round 1 but they wouldn’t release metcalf to us even tho he was on a development deal and would had made our 17.

Luke Thompson on 800k is off contract end of '23.
So is Waddell, Flanagan, Okunbor, Burns and a few others. It's not that unfeasible if you look at the numbers.

I think they also stop paying for a couple guys they have released, like Dallin Watene-Zelezniak.

Their squad is still pretty average. Little depth around those guys, the backline is looking very average outside of JAC and Burton. I guess they'll be heavily relying on juniors coming through to fill the gaps.
