Tony Martin
Slow news dayI'd take him back. Give him a cheap contract and chuck him on the wing. Don't know how his speed is now though.

He was not only open about cash on the side but knew it wasn't in his contract. Now over the years how many times have we seen an NRL player get tied to a salary cap scandal and say they don't know about that they leave it to their manager. Then get off not even getting a warning. They then complain if TPA's don't get paid even though they are not meant to be guaranteed. It is really interesting to hear a player talk openly about cash on the side like Locke did about Koukash.
As for Locke the player, how could anyone believe that he wouldn't chuck it in or get negative as soon as things got hard? He may have changed, and he may be able to be the gifted player he once was again, but few would gamble a top 30 spot on that. He might need to train for free for a while at a team, put out the cones, do the dishes etc to show how humble he is and how much it all means to him.
Reminds me of some good days though. I really enjoyed watching him play. What could of been aye.
Even the Mole knows it.
How do the Tigers sign Aucklander Asu Kepaoa.
He has played well on the wing in reserve grade but long-term more of a centre. Has spent two years developing waiting for his turn behind a stacked roosters squad.
This is the rooster POS should of signed. Warriors are desperate for an NRL OB with potential for 2021. Could of got him. Easy. Imagine his family still live in Auckland.
If you were a young league player with potential and had Warriors as well as other suitors, would you choose the Warriors?Could of got him. Easy.
Reckon he was one of the loan players we were offered and turned our nose up at? He isn't a truck, isn't north of 30 and hasn't played more than 20 FG games.
If you were a young league player with potential and had Warriors as well as other suitors, would you choose the Warriors?
And if you do, rank the following in order of your criteria:
1) Money
2) family location
3) player development
4) career progression
IMO, a player will develop further at another NRL club. Career/rep opportunities would be higher too. If you don't care about that, and living close to family or money is your prime motivation, than you are simply "settling" and content, with fairly low drive for your own career, so Warriors would be a good fit.
Some people want to achieve.
Some people want to be content and feel like they have made it.
No surprise .He was never gong anywhere elseSaw Paul Gallen weighing in on the SBW topic
Only two teams he should come back for
1) Bull dogs - the club he walked out on
2) Warriors - cause he’s a kiwi
two teams that could do with his help
Wholeheartedly agree
Not the cheating fucking Roosters!!!!

Pity his grandfather is not alive.Would have kicked his arseHis best mate Mundine said the same thing and added that he should go to a team that needed help rather than a powerhouse citing the same 2 teams.
Mind you, backing winners has been half of SBWs success. It has helped to get everything he has got out of life.
Do you remember his grandfather Sup.You probably too young.SBW playing for the Warriors would be like his boxing career turned legit....like having to fight the ten rounds against a fat old Francis Botha, instead they changed it to eight rounds because Botha was going to knock him out.
Williams is talented no doubt, but he always took the easy route, good for business.
Before my time.Do you remember his grandfather Sup.You probably too young.
His grandfather was Bill Woolsey.Used to spar with all the yankee heavyweights who were coming & fighting here in those days.Bill played until nearly 50 & could fight like fuck .A legendary hard guyBefore my time.

He would be at risk of being a bad influence at the Warriors, like he was when he got booted from the Kiwis for being one of the boys during drug gate WC final.
