From the Mole:

Young gun signs for Raiders

The Raiders have scored a coup by signing one of the best young forward prospects in New Zealand.

Sila Titiuti is just 18 but tips the scales at 112 kilos - and is still growing.

He hails from famous rugby union school St Kentigern College in Auckland, whose alumni include Storm sensation Suliasi Vunivalu, former Warrior Albert Vete and rugby great Joe Rokocoko.

The back-rower switched to league this year in order to play for his native Tonga and was spotted in New Zealand by Raiders recruitment guru Peter Mulholland and will join the club fulltime next year.

One to watch!

Rumour concerning an ex Warrior, seen on social media:

Konrad Hurrell to be release day by the Titans to ESL.

Not sure how much truth in this.

Yeah sounds like Konnie is off to the UK, heard maybe Leeds?

And then Jordan Kahu to fill his spot at the Titans.

Dragons interested in Hayne (guess that would cover for losing Nene MacDonald)

And Oates to reject bigger Sydney offers and re-sign with the Broncos.

NRL: Leeds lure Gold Coast Titans' Konrad Hurell to Super League

ENGLISH club Leeds have pulled off a coup by signing Gold Coast’s Tongan international Konrad Hurrell.

While Hurrell has had his ups and downs in the NRL, he will be a sensation in England with his aggressive running game and tryscoring flair.

The 27-year-old was under contract to the Titans for 2019 but the club has agreed to let him go to Leeds, who recently appointed former Canberra star David Furner as coach.

Hurrell debuted in the NRL for the Warriors in 2012 and on his day, is among the most devastating ball runners in the NRL.

But his career has been plagued by fitness problems and off field incidents and a move to the Titans in 2016 did little to help.

Leeds are also chasing several other big names for next season.

Shame really, he served as a pretty good warning to Warriors players while in the NRL.

I know it's moving from the NRL to Super League but he is off to one of the top clubs over there. He is probably getting decent money moving to Leeds, probably also will be treated like a start on his arrival.

He still struggles defensively like he did here. Does he see moving on an issue with his form/play or the fault with the club/coaching?

You cant have watched much superleague then this year. Leeds were rubbish, a couple of games from Relegation to the Championship.
But in saying that, "one trick pony Hurrell" might go ok over there.

True didn't get to watch much Super League. I aim to but can't get the time around the kids, NRL is easy being at night time. I actually thought the Grand Final I recorded was Wigan vs Leeds. After seeing your post had to double check to see that it was Warrington. I did forward it to the start of the game so seeing Steve Price should of been a give away.

For every good thing he did for the Titans, 5 minutes later he seemed to drop the ball in his own half or make a bad read. Just doesn't have a complete enough game for the NRL. Real shame, his running game was amazing at the Warriors. Good luck Konnie go hard.

TBH, I think he will go pretty good over in the SL.
Who does Sam play for over there now, hasn't he just changed clubs? I'm sure Konnie and him struck up a pretty good friendship.....

If she wants access to his $$$$ then she'll love it in Leeds.

Leeds is a great city to live in. From there you have access to the Yorkshire Dales _ lovely scenery, wonderful genuine people, great pubs. Admitadely a lot different from the GC.
