So similar to the Warriors thread with the same name, any news, rumours etc for player movement for any teams OTHER than the Warriors go here.

To kick it off I've posted the lists below. Again with this thread, please limit the amount of discussion surrounding 'who you'd like to see playing for the Warriors' based around players you see as off contract. Those discussions can go on forever and there is an appropriate place for them.

No it doesn't.

It highlights his inability to turn all the talent in the world into results on the field.

2 tries from him this year is a shocking return from a full back.[/quo
Bingo, you are on the money there mate, I for one though hope he stays.

Warriors have Fusitua ...who they obviously rate highly and is one year younger.
Then I personally like Solomone Kata - he is undercover but I think is NRL material.

He is a centre but could transition from Wing quite easily.
I wouldnt be suprised if one or both push in to NRL like Laumape did.
Year but Lolohea is the best of them all... He's the one we want to be keeping IMO...

Locke's been carrying injuries all season... Fish hasn't scored one try since he got injured? I'm not sure its a fair criticism..
Of course Fish hasn't scored any tries, he has been out with a serious injury, Locke has been playing, I want him to stay and fight for a starting spot.

Going to go against the grain here, but I just don't think Locke was every really as good as people make him out to be from his days in the 20's. The things he did in the NYC don't translate to first grade.

He doesn't have the full skills a fullback in the NRL requires IMO and same goes of an NRL half. When I look at him play he just reminds me of a modern day Hohaia. Has so many great attributes but they just don't fit right into a singe position.
He may be the perfect 14, like Hohaia, who added a lot to the team.

he was very good in 2011. edd posted the much posted u20 try from his days there last week, its kind of sad he hasnt produced anything like that in recent years and if anything his pace looks down and hes playing in the line more.

Very good yes, but IMO not exceptional. If he tried that U20's try in first grade he'd be burnt at the stake by fans if it didn't come off and it's such a low percentage play in first grade it probably wouldn't come off.

For me the number one problem for Locke is that his attitude/application on the field is not consistent enough standard to be a top ranking fullback. When he is on he is as devastating as anybody,we just don't see it enough.Same goes for Packer and because of that Warriors fans need not worry that he will come back and "haunt us" like some fans seem to be worried about. My pick is that he won't see out the four years of his Knights contract and will be last seen heading up to Northern England never to be heard of again.

Hopoate has signed for the Eels for a rumoured $800k per season (according to the all knowing - but often wrong - Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Hopoate )
My brother served his mission with Will and he is definitely going to be at the Eels next year. The Eels have been paying a nutritionist to monitor his diet, about the only thing the club is allowed by the Mormon church to do. He hasnt been training so Im not sure how fit he'll be. Think he's finished his mission or will do soon.

To go off topic a bit my brother also said that old man John is about the most humble man you could meet and he's nothing like his on field persona.

Cant see it myself...

Practicing Mormons are very clean living people , everyones heard they don't drink / smoke / no coffee and tea etc......but Ironically the biggest addiction Mormons are inclined toward is eating in the same way Drug pigs would smoke a few ounces and do a few grams.

Seriously been to many a Mormon feed in my time and they go at it like it's crack lol

Good Idea Will Hopoate having a dietician , I got plenty of Mormon family and they tell me that eating properly is part of the beliefs too but as they talk the roast pork fat hangs thick on their breath.

...and they tell me that eating properly is part of the beliefs too but as they talk the roast pork fat hangs thick on their breath.
I grew up in a Mormon household and this is dead true. Their guidelines for eating (among other things) is known as the Word of Wisdom. I laugh when I've seen so many of them bend the eating part but are super strict with the rest (caffeine, tobacco, etc.).

As much as I dislike the Broncos, I'd love to see the eyes picked out of the Storm. Smith is very durable for 31 and likely has 3 good years left in him.

I hope smith finishes his career at the storm- always good to see a guy spend his career at one club- even if it is for a club I hate.
The one club man is a dying breed.

I see your view point, for sure. It would be like when Jones left us - fucking horrible.

In the Canberra Times it was reported that the Raiders were going hard for Locke to cover the expected loss of Milford but were told by the Warriors that Locke was now off limits for 2014, so the Raiders are going to make Milford stay until end of next year.
