Interesting to see Feleti Mateo named at 5/8. Be good to see how he goes. He did play there once with us.

Also good to see Isaac John get a run for the Uncle Ivans Panthers.

Looks like the Ttians are back to full strength with Beau Falloon and Aidan Sezer picked to play.

Really hard tipping week this week...

That Panthers Roosters game should be an absolute cracker. Roosters were good last week and completed at around 80%. Panthers were awful at the start but they came right and Cleary has their offense humming nicely and they have a ton of points in them. Easily the match of the round despite Sowards absence.
The other game that interests me is Raiders Dragons. A real battle of the desperados and a game I reckon will go a long way to deciding the spoon. If Dragons can't beat a depleted Raiders they are in for a long season and might be looking for a new coach come Easter.

Is Fox's first pick for the round the Monday Night game?

That's a hell of a game for a Monday Night. Well anyway I can relax during that game the stressful game is 5pm NZ time; just hope I've finished my painting in time otherwise my wife is going to have one of those husbands who leaves a job half finished. Who am I kidding I do that anyway.:p

Saturday night isn't looking to appealing if it was a boxing card it would be backwards. The main event is starting first.

Jamie Lyon has been confirmed out for tonights game...

If Mateo goes alright at 5/8 with Foran out do you think Manly would look at him long term? A bit of a gamble with the way his form fluctuates surely they will go after 2 halves or promote someone from within.

Saw his try but been in and out of the room. How has he been going at 5/8?

On another of our former recruits did anyone see the Matty Johns show yesterday? Alexander was showing how structured the Dragons attack is and show Widdop going across field Nielsen doesn't adjust his line which causes Widdop to run back infield pretty much going sideways the width of the field. It was quite comical; easier to laugh at now that it's happening somewhere else.:D

I usually don't like the constant capatains questioning the refs voldermoorts but that Tolman conversation was funny as hell.

The ref must have been thinking I can't explain myself he has me cornered there. You've interrupted me twice no need to answer now.o_O

bulldogs v manly is another really dull game… too many so far this season, whats the problem?

Steve Matai may be controversial round here for his use of the warriors as a stalking horse but god he is tuff. that hyper extension was not to be laughed at.

The commentators saying or implying it's dull doesn't help either.

Gould made the cow out on the field with the moooooooooooove joke last year. Tonight it seemed set up as once he said it they seemed to turn the refs mike up to emphasise it. I found an old game I had on video, some old Grand Final and Gould may have been on the side line. He was more about what was happening on the field and factual not trying to start a comedy career.

9 commentators do nothing for the game to promote it. Just note the difference on Fox where they actually call the game and don't dick around.
You'd think if you were 9, you'd talk up and protect your product

Its quite sad how bad the Cowboys are. The cowboys cant even do anything right and making the Donkeys look like a better team than they are.

Thurston can't carry this team on his own anymore he is missing his buddy Matty Bowen to I think
