Reckon the warriors could beat either of the Panthers or Sea Eagles on their form tonight, though Origin depleted of course

well, we can't lose but do we get 2 points? there was some confusion last year. I'm only asking because I don't know whether to have a 2 points gained or a 2 points lost drink this week-end.

From what I googled seems we get the two points, though not showing on the ladder. Sure someone more clued up will let us know

They can be slow at updating the ladder. Must be cost cutting at NRL headquarters.

Great to see the Eels getting one over on the Bunnies.
With no help from the refs. Who could have given penalties for holding down twice in succession just before the first Eels try. They didn't, the Eels scored anyway. Yesss!

Awwww. Gee. Parramatta have a great team, playing brilliantly. Excellent defence, a tough pack, sparky attack, support play. It's all there! Pressure kept up right til the end. What more could you want?(*) Oh yeah, and on top of that they have an amazing new stadium.
(*) I know, consistency. But hey, give 'em their win, even over a depleted Saffs, who still had those Burgess bastards, that funny-running half, etc.

I'm still in a holding pattern with the Warriors and what they offer from week to week. It'll be interesting to see where their heads are at through the Origin period. They don't have to worry about travel because they play the Storm at home on Saturday and you'd expect them to win.

Storm are good because of the culture... origin doesn’t mean anything. Smiths still there and so the storm are the favourite in my book.

He's dreaming. I never expect anyone to beat the Storm, especially us since 2011.
True that. Difference between theory and reality I suppose. On paper, the Warriors should be capable of a win against Storm this round, given they almost had victory (away) in Round 7...only one point in it. And this is a somewhat Origin-depleted team (if it matters).
But there doesn't seem to be any magic in home games this year, sadly.
