Wow the forwrds need to work on their defense and line speed. It was terrible until the last 15 when we reverse some insane stats and ended up near evens lol.

Being gay myself - I did feel a little off when I heard that word but I luckily have enough resilience to put it down to being Adrenalin pumped. No excuses and that stuff needs to be better. There are so many people in my community that don’t yet have that resilience. I hope they reflect and be better in the future. There is no place for any hate anywhere in life.

But I won’t let that sour this beautiful win and moment!

Disappointed yes, am i gonna lose sleep, no. Theyre footballers, and thats it. Things are said in the heat of battle that shouldnt be, and im sure a lot worse is said thats not caught on camera. Hopefully whoever said it is never outed, but has a quiet word spoken in their ear that its not on.

Very true words mate. Hopefully it was just an adrenaline fuelled sledge with no malice behind it but it's still disappointing and not nice. Hopefully just a one off incident.

Yeah nah. This is shit and hope the club comes down hard on our player who said it. As others have stated it is just as bad as the guys being racist on field.
I am gay myself and if I was coming up through first grade and playing (I wish) this talk from my team mates would be keeping me well and truly in that closet.
It's attitudes like our player that is keeping young men from coming out or even worse suicide. Not surprised we don't have any open NRL player or All Blacks. They are their but we'll and truly locked in a closet. Just a dumb comment from a dumb player.
