Support/Announcement NRL Discussion Thread - with comments from broncos and manly fans

Would you guys mind if we did a little test this week for the NRL Round 11 General Discussion thread?

As you all are pretty aware now, this forum, Silvertails and BroncosHQ forums are closely aligned.

We have always envisaged a gameday thread between the sides (for example warriors v manly) would have posts from our users on here as usual....plus posts from manly forums automatically being populated in the thread.

To start off, we are thinking of having a nrl discussion for this weeks game, and it will be autopopulated with the posts from the other 2 forums on their own forums for the same thread there. The userid/avatar will show that it was posted on broncoshq/silvertails forum etc.

Would you guys be ok with this?

A lot of test posts last night were deleted. Feel free to post in the thread if you need to see how it works. I will delete the test posts before the round kick off this evening.

Few things to note:
1) this is experimental. Few additional things such as alerts when a user from another site quotes you etc will come later on.
2) play nice. Its nice to have banter and a laugh in those threads but stay away from personal attacks on those threads.

I love this innovation.

There are game day threads on LU where you can go and read what other fans think during the game.

Also it is useful intel being able to ask fans from other clubs about players like Reece Walsh and Addin Fonua-Blake. And in turn we can give the skinny on guys like Lawton.

One thing though, it feels like going to watch the footy at a mates place when you are not into the team or sport they love on the telly, and you play nice lol.

No harm in that, it is wasting time trolling other clubs fans in a feature like this if you ask me.

Looks like I will be a Broncos and Manly sympathizer this season then.

That is ok, My cousin works at Suncorp, and my little bro played for Manly Juniors.

There are always connections somewhere.

Plus it is good to read neatral opinions about our Reffing performances.
