No doubt Sualii is a talent….but I don’t think he’s super amazing. I just can’t see why everyone is so upset he’s leaving. Is it that much worse than when vunivalu left???

I haven't been watching Parra too closely this year, do they just suck now or have they been unlucky.

This is easily their worst performance of the year. The other games they've lost have only been by a max of 4 points I think. They look utter shithouse tonight against a Teddyless Chooks.

I just don't see it personally. A talent for sure but you'd think he's a once in a generation style like SBW. I'd argue Folau and Inglis were more impressive at this stage in their careers.

I agree with the argument that Rugby Australia have paid way way way too much for him. It's pretty much all based on Potential, not Performance.

I don't think rugby league is going to be left bereft when he eventually goes and if I was NSW in S of O (I support QLD because that's where any Warriors player lucky enough to get selected 9 times out of 10 goes, BTW!), I'd probably pick him this year - even in the larger squad if he's worthy of selection - but in 2024 I'd be a bit less inclined unless there was no other option (ie no other future NSW player I'd like to bring into the system).

I'd even say in terms of big plays and freakish shit, Cobbo at 19 was way ahead of Sualii. Not as consistent or composed for sure, I'd say JS is being developed like a show dog, at a one-step-at-a-time pace, whereas SC is like an overgrown puppy let off the leash, scoring otherworldly tries, in between doing backflips, chewing up furniture and pissing himself.
