Thrilled to see our specialists wings actually stay on the wing, must have been tempting to bring Montoya in at center.

Hopefully Berry can hack it, because he's the veteran center now.

Interesting bench, with only one front rower, however with Lodge coming back next week I’m hoping all on that bench are going to bust their arse so they’re not the one who’s left out

VERY nervous about Chanel Harris-Tavita at fullback he has not impressed me there at all.
Bit of a risk defensively with Chanel Harris-Tavita,Kodi and Vailea(based off last year).

If you said 12 months ago that would be the back 5 would've said you completely off your head. Last year Rd 1 was the tried and true Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, FUSITUA, MAUMALO, AITKEN, HIKU this is just a bizarre combination of players now. Rest of the team is good, but have worries about how these rookies and journeymen will go. And Dallin Watene-Zelezniak still makes some rookie decisions.

I actually think Kodi could very well play his best partnering Shaun. Shaun is a genuine dominant half, with an attacking mindset. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a preference for Kodi, knowing he would complement his style.

Browny is doing a good thing for the long term by playing the rookie centres and picking a fullback who can pass, so they can keep some of their backline shapes. a more conservative coach would definitely just move Aitken back, play Dal at FB and chuck big Pompey on the wing. But wins are hard to come by in the NRL and it's just very raw bunch.

You got Dallin Watene-Zelezniak that's played fullback for the kiwis but brown wants Chanel Harris-Tavita (who has only played in the halves) to play there instead. From what I've heard he didn't even play well at fullback in the trial. Brown already f*cking up team selections

Don't think many had him in their starting team in the name your team thread- in fact I think a lot left him out of the 17 altogether.
Had a bit of a down year last year but has obviously worked hard in the off season and looked really good in the trial.
I rate this kid- marquee player potential I reckon.

Yea pretty sure everyone was in this boat ay. Kodi also seemed the best at putting him in good positions. Will they be on the same edge?
