I had the exact same thoughts when I saw that play. Guts, determination, intensity...all things we unfortunately lack.
Loved seeing Nathan Cleary getting marched - absolutely dislike that guy - He is a dirty player and for ages gets away with crap because of who he is. So was happy to see him sent off. My only disappointment was the Eels players tapping Cleary on the back and everyone rushing in to calm the situation down. I would have preferred the Eels players to knock Cleary's head off with some vicious blows. Well that's what normally happens. The tameness of it was a let down

Interesting comment. He deserved to be marched for his mistimed tackle definitely and he knew and accepted it. If anything he's actually one of the nice guys of the NRL and has been smashed late multiple times by players putting kick pressure on him, so has been on the receiving end more than his fair share. A deliberate dirty act could be described as the one we saw from a certain Rooster the other night.

The Panthers and the Storm get some special treatment that the ‘average’ teams simply don’t get.
