Time to move on, not only from this forum, but also exit as a NZ Warriors supporter/member.
I will still be watching... only because I tend to watch every NRL game, however I will have no emotional investment in the team, which has been the case increasingly over the last year or so.

Bundled up my jerseys in a bag... I will not burn them but will place them at the drop off spot at the local Op shop...

Respect to the great laughs and conversations we've had here on the supporters forum over the years... All the Best Folks!

More importantly... tremendous thanks to the many Warriors players admired through the years... Brent Webb, Stacey, Simon, just to name a few, and there are many many more.

I am here today to Terminate ties, but unlike Arnie, I won't be back...

don't have another team...
I use to follow various teams in the early 80's because of NZ players.... Norths Mark Graham and later Clayton Friend, then Easts with Hugh McGahan, then settled on my local team Souths.

The announcement of an Auckland team bought earnest anticipation and excitement, and then when it all began, I tried to follow the two teams but I increasingly began to drop Souths, to then solely follow the Auckland Warriors,
mostly because of Auckland's proud League reputation on the world stage and of my junior playing days with Auckland League.

If the Warriors somehow manage to make it to the Big Dance and Win, they won't be my team... I will have NO REGRETS.

It will take time to digest. but I'm out... K O'd

Called the ref a cheat and the nrl are set to investigate it. Could find himself with some grief after his off season.

That's an issue with their roster as I see it, Dad's army and some promising youngsters... really missed out on the players at their peak right now.... will be interesting to see if they are more crushers or broncos, I suspect with their catchment and history they will do well longer term, should be better than the Gold Coast at least.

That’s how bad it’s gotten at the Warriors, not even the Sth Akld born & raised Kiwis captain who’s looking for a retirement cheque want to relocate to NZ!

If there was a better way to manage it they would have brought in two teams so that we didn't have an uneven draw. I think 16 teams is enough though, its really milking things with 17

Smith has been referred straight to the judiciary for this as well

Can you imagine two teams both trying to sign 30 players at once? The can barely fill a team as is.

The irony of calling him a cheat.

It's a classic Storm tactic, they get tackled then jump up and a couple of metres forwards to fuck with the ruck and markers, trying to draw a penalty for interference which is only interference because they're pushing into the markets.

Works for them a lot, but the ref clearly recognises it here and says "you shortened it" which is good officiating.
