How have cowboys become this year's loveboys of the commentators

Because the only hard team they've played was Eels in 99% humidity in Darwin.

They've played in NSW once... against a garbage Canberra team that led by 18 point before falling in a heap.

But never fear... they play Melbourne next week (in Townsville of course), but then have to head to Panthers.

I'm hoping and praying they concede 160pts over the next two weeks 🙏🙏🙏

Everyone tipped them to finish last so none of this should be relevant. They may get towelled up the next two weeks which would surprise no one because atm it is a two horse race with the rest making up the numbers. If both the Broncos and the Cowboys make the playoffs this year, it will be a huge credit to both organisations and will signal that both clubs are moving forward.

I'm not particularly fond of them either but I've always had a bit of a soft spot for them. A franchise stuck way up there in a tiny town surrounded by fuck all. They have never really had it very easy and their history mainly reflects that.
