Just when i thought stephen kearney was gone.. brown goes and names our best backrower in the front row when we have heaps of depth. Then just to mess with everyone.. goes and takes our best centre and chuck him on the wing?? Surely just mind games?
Tohu Harris has been playing in his preferred position in the middle for the past year. He is a very reluctant second rower now.

Hikus naming could be a nod to his defensive frailties

True... would like to know why he doesnt like being on the edge anymore.. must be sick of covering for the backline lol

Fuck that.

These useless pricks need to win. This club is over 25 years old. I’m sick to death of anything resembling patience.

I might have said we needed things to go right with injuries before, but anything less than the intent to win is a failing grade for these overpaid clowns.

Its not like the Dragons were picked as anything more than cellar dwellers this year. They managed to get themselves into an early top four position by actually putting in something resembling effort.
I watched the Dragons full game against the Eels.

They are notorious early season premiers....unfortunately right now, they are Red hot...I mean really red hot.

Their defence is outstanding our attack is shit, their attack is humming too....and they are leading the comp for DH runs....they always DH run and offload on the Warriors which is why we can almost never beat them .

On form there is no way we win. It will take a massive upset.

This is a club that has owned the Warriors since 95 more than any team. There is no way around the fact that we are up against our worst nemesis and realistically looking at a smashing.

Yeah I don’t know if he feels more limited in his game due to the injuries he has sustained? He does do some quality work in the middle though

So often when we write the teams chances off they come out and surprise us. So keep bagging them guys
I'm not confident but it does happen
Bunty to replace Fusitua. Imagine Hiku feeding him early ball and Bunty going all Lomu down the touch line . Perhaps a bit left field for a pedestrian coach 🙃?

Can only imagine that Eli is injured — I can't imagine that "drop Katoa" is the conclusion one comes to after watching the Manly game, even if it wasn't his best effort.

If this was Kearney/Payten then I'd tell you that there is absolutely no chance of Hiku playing on the wing, and you'd see a reshuffle with Pompey probably. But I have no idea with Brown and if that's how he operates. We've seen a couple pack/bench reshuffles, so I wouldn't be surprised. Really hope we get that same kind of shuffle this weekend too because that pack looks a bit of a mess.

Jamayne Tounua-Brown not making the 17 is a really odd one; thought he started pretty well and should really be in the starting front row with Tohu Harris moving to 13, Jazz to the bench. Guess he wants to give Evans a chance to redeem himself — better make the most of it. Curran making the team out of nowhere as well. Not sure what to make of this.

Dragons aren't as good as their record suggests — at full strength we should roll them. Think it'll be a tight one either way.

Katoa has a serious case of 2nd year syndrome, he needs to go back down to reggies and regain some confidence. He's been well off all season bar round one against an out of sorts Titans team.

You guys have no faith at all.

Right from the start you all write them off.

Give the guys a chance.

The Dragons used to be our bogey team but the last few years we've beaten them.

Is this the Warriors forum or the No Faith in the Warriors Forum?

Geez.

If we manage to fuck up Katoa's development then I'm not sure where to go next with the Warriors. For me he is the most genuinely exciting junior prospect in 10 years.

He had strength, distribution, an ability to think on his feet, and a humble demeanour last year. Pure class.

Yay for the shackles off in QLD Cup.

Geez.

i see this as where the realist’s gather to have frank discussion and often constructive criticism of the club and team.
I also see a forum of genuine long term fans that give a fuck.

faith has little to do with it.

I thought Katoa was in the leadership group...
The wheels on the bus are falling off
You will always have an emerging leader within the group, which by all accounts Katoa is with his actions at training and in preparation.

A couple of weeks away to produce 80 minute performances will do him no harm. The club has invested heavily in his future with a 4 year contract so will give him a few things to work on. Even Angus Chricton had to work on aspects of his game when he got to the Roosters and spend time playing smaller minutes through the middle before finding himself on the edge again. I’m sure he will be back soon
