Was anyone else blown away by Burton's try last night?

Not the most craziest looking try, but the change of angle with ball in mid-flight was just amazing to me. I've watched it about 10 times this morning, Bulldogs are lucky to have that kid.

Try taken away on review for the knights. No proof when given as a try. Harsh call.

Always love those ones where they seem to move back inside onto the ball before it hits them then step back out and take off. Looks so good to the eye

Always liked corey thompson but he seems to be killing it since coming back from super league. Would swap either wing in a heart beat

Hetherington penalised for pushing around the face, why the fuck would Egan not get the same last night when he got the same treatment and it opened up his head. Is it normal practice that the ref that goes out to the teams in pre season doesn’t ref their games? Can remember this guy came to our pre season.

The Storms ability to develop talent really is impressive.

Look at their roster - unheard of names a few seasons ago now considered best in class.

Munster, Hughes, Papenhozen, Smith...

They look like a stacked team but it’s all internally developed players

How do they do it????
I read somewhere that Storm have a real authoritarian hierarchical system in place.
That makes every person there just a cog in a machine.
The combined goal is winning premierships you either support that or fuck off.

As I posted in another thread, at the elite team level, regardless of job, trusting the bloke next to you is a far better marker of success than any one individual performance.
Who cares if the bloke next to me can cover 100m in 11secs if I can't trust him with my life.

No coincidence we have only ever focused on individual athletes..
