How bad are the Cowboys.
On paper this is the worst Sharks line up that I can recall in 30 years of watching first grade league and they have been further decimated by injuries in this game.

It's not like they were a high performing group of players last season. If you have players already who don't seem to want to play for a contract what does that tell you about the quality of the squad? They need a big rebuild. That's not necessarily a reflection on Todd's coaching ability considering he has not had the time to shape the squad he wants.

I don't disagree with you but surely as a rookie coach you take a team on the rise (i.e.the warriors) as opposed to a total rebuild (the cowboys). At this rate he'll never get a head role again.

The problem for the Cowboys is that they have got around a third of their cap on 3 players, ones forever injured and another is a winger who they are making play fullback. Their other 3 high priced players, McGuire, Hess and McLean are in no form at all.
It gunna take quite a few years for them to turn it around because their young players comming through dont look like 1st grade material.

I believe Morgan is about to be medically retired, which is a tiny light at the end of tunnel.

I reckon Taumalolo and the Cows will agree to part ways for the good of each other.

Taumalolo is worth the money, but not when everything else is so far out of whack. An Ivan Cleary Penny Panthers type clear out is needed.
