BOY - watching Manly v Penrith first half - feeling pretty good that it’s been a long time since the Warriors have been as broken as Manly, Doggies and the Cows are right now. Still fun to watch cause it’s hard to know what to expect! But they are f**ked on every level - Coach / Roster Balance / Game Plan / Confidence- you name it!

It's been pretty much a slaughterhouse so far... still interested in what the second-half will bring, given that Manly were starting to gain some momentum there.

We will know next week I suppose. Tommy T could be back? and we have a bad habit of playing Manly back into form!
Addin Fonua-Blake to calm us the f$5k down and go straight up the middle...

The play leading up to the Panthers second try had a nice little bit with Cleary having run past the play, the ball comes back in his direction he gets back behind the ball again to contribute. Pretty cool seeing the better sides and the small things the players do cause their going well.

For some reason I'm starting to hate Penrith....They are good, but I think tonight Manly a making them look good. In theory, they should've lost last week against the Storm.

I just hate them...

I’m in a different camp. Not a mad fan but quite like the arrogance of youth and the fact they’ve got talent to back it up. It’s the thing that will set them up for GF success. They keep losing the big finals games but eventually they ll hold it down. Plus - Backstreet Boys 😂

I don't think I'd mind losing this week to the roosters, but losing next week to manly would be such a warriors thing to do....
Warrioring is carving up the champions one week then getting embarrassed by the worst Manly side since the Northern Eagles, that merger was like a Matty Johns prank on two clubs. Glad we're getting back to normal though.

Yeah that Manly team is diabolical. Just no spirit or guts bar a handful of players. No way Turbo makes that much of a difference to the team when so much of the team is full of bludgers.

Panthers are the real deal. Already got one of the top 4 spots locked in.

Have to laugh at people here hating on them. I seem to remember a certain team in 2002 that exhibited even worse young enthusiasm and swagger. This is what winners do cause winning is so exciting and energising. Let them have their peacock moment. Keep the knives sharpened when they eventually fall and join the rest of the poppies like haters love to do too...

I'm surprised the Oxford Dictionary hasn't got Warriors as a verb:
Warriors verb "to do a Warriors". For a player or team to surprisingly beat a champion player or team in a match and then in the subsequent match, be beaten by a significantly poorer player or team than the champion player or team previously beaten. Origin: 1995-2021 history of rugby league team Auckland Warriors and then New Zealand Warriors.

Is it too early to ask the Manly Sea Eagles to provide the pikelets for the Mad Monday celebrations, since they've got the wooden spoon to make them with? :)

Souths Vs Penrith is going to be rep game level I reckon! That Penrith side can beat international teams!

Man I tell ya, the next six games for the warriors features Manly twice, Cowboys, dragons who we are going good against and have now lost Hunt, Roosters and Storm. Warriors could rocket uo the ladder and make a great start to the season.
