When someones face looks like that its a send off. Evens "head slam" is 10 which would put mitchells hit on par with that(in terms of punishment) but its closer to CHNs hit imo. Look how CHN conducts himself during and after it happened also. What a pos mitchell is

I don't know the guys background but it's almost like he is the "unofficial" poster boy for aspiring indigenous youth and that you can do well in life despite your upbringing so he is treated way, way, way too softly by referees, the bunker, match review committee and judiciary.

I watched the tackle before I saw the injury ao maybe I’m seeing it different. But even the on field commentators didn’t react to it until they’d seen the injury.

And the reason they didntwe see these kinds of hits every week (shoulder to the head, swinging arm), some of the time without penalty if you do it to a warriors player. They need to stamp it out entirely, not just let it slide when the player is fine, cos otherwise this something like this is inevitable. Same reason we don’t have the shoulder charge, it got sloppy and Greg inglis nearly took that dragons players head off. Now we don’t have it anymore.

so yeah, is it bad? Of course, Joey manu is in bad shape. But does it happen every week without serious injury? Yes. So should we really be surprised that this happened? I don’t really like it when the punishment relative to the injury and not the foul play coz maybe as a warriors fan it feels like we get pinged when someone gets hurt in a contact sport.

Couldn`t agree with you more..he has no place in the game with behaviour like that, terrifying to realise that there`s thugs like him celebrated and protected with their supposed status in the game. these sort of incidents and hints of corruption will have me walking away from the game entirely!

Funny how high shot calls are suddenly stopped then started again after the Warriors game. The outcome for the NRL`s He can`t do anything wrong wonderboy Mitchel is justified. Problem is that they probably lost Addo-Carr with a hammy plus they have a few more suspension possibilities as well. As Voss was commentating, the Storm have some issues in that area atm.
