I like the team named.

Yes, hooker is an issue, but in all honesty, our current hooker is mainly used for passing anyway and hardly runs.

I like the backline, I like the bench and the pack is good.

We need to win this game as I'm slowly losing interest in watching them live and we need to stay in touch with the 8.

Yea same here this is a better team then last week's.That's probably the best backline we have fielded all year. Back 3 all with speed, solid centre's and no Chanel Harris-Tavita to kill the attack.

Some great news - the casualty report lists Wade Egan for Round 16 return. It might not turn out to be Round 16 but at least it is a good sign.

Hope he is ok.

The initial report from Brown of his condition being unstable with blurred vision meant he was under a very serious head injury scare.

Must be just post concussion syndrome on the milder end of the spectrum rather than severe, since he had the right symptoms however is likely to be fit so soon.

Had a lot of experience with concussion myself.

As we all know, he will have to watch it from here.

He wont know where he is at till he hits the tackle bags hard and gives the old nut a bit of a try out for sudden deceleration.

I remember when Te Maire Martin had the brain bleed, took a year off.....got medically cleared, first tackle bag he hit set him back in a big way, career ended, ACC case.

Sup 42 reading the sentiment of your post, I don't think either of us is that thrilled with him coming back so quickly. I would prefer him taking a number of weeks off to get right.

Let's hope prudence prevails.

No excuses if we lose this one... even with Egan out, we should be able to compensate for it, him being just one player, albeit in the spine.

I'm expecting to see a solid, ruthless and more rounded performance from the team named.

No Egan...no hooker...no win.

In other words not really any excuse to carry on about this team naming, because frankly it was farked before five pm Tuesday.

Therefore, the rest of the details....mere details....details....do in fact contain some viewing delights.

Excitement reason numero uno in a probably losing team has to be the inclusion of Sean O'Sullivan and Reece Walsh in the same team.

Sean O'Sullivan the direct attacker and genuine pivot with a very nice kicking game and Walsh the dynamo with a nice kick, direct play, and very special passing game....oh yeah Sean O'Sullivan passes beautifully compared to Chanel Harris-Tavita and Kodi.

So....and this is a bloody big if......if the dummy half can deliver serviceable ball to those two, we will see some very aggressive- attack including fifth tackle option taking.

We should also demand that Kodi stands up with Sean O'Sullivan and Walsh giving him the structure that he can add lib from.

But like I say it all depends on the hooking replacement and Jazz aint very good....balls will go everywhere which will distort what should have been our most structured and nicely shaped attacking formation this season.

When Jazz and his helper get it right we will probably score or dominate territory, when he screws it up we will look like shit.

Mr Egan is that important to 2021 and anyone moaning about him will learn the meaning of beggars and choosers.

Berry has pushed his way into the lead....and I love Brown for it...right coach right time wrong injury scenario.
Mate, i have been pleasently surprised at jazzs service from dummy half in the games where he has had notice that he was goimg to be im the role and thus practising during the week, his passes are actually quite crisp. I like his service more than egans at times because he passes straight away instead of taking a step or 2 then passing the way egan does.

Being a real anti Sean O'Sullivan fan early on in the season I am going to try my best to get behind him as he will be the 7 for the rest of the year.
I don't want to be one of those salty Chanel Harris-Tavita fans that rip him to shreds for everything (which I did to Sean previously). Let's back all our players, they want to win just as much as we do!
Im im the same boat but still have my concerns over Sean O'Sullivan. To me he didnt have any feel for the game, constantly took the line on by himself and died with the ball, this was highlighted when he had a huge overlap and a certain try if he passed but decide to kick instead which was defused. Also his defense as most have documented, was suspect at best.
Im hoping he comes out and proves me very wrong, remember we dont need him to overplay his hand on attack, just direct the team around, get the ball to kodi, walsh and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck at the right times and kick well.
Heres hoping because we really need a win this week.

Sean O'Sullivan is better than Chanel Harris-Tavita.
Jazz will probably be a downgrade on Egan, but not by much. I think Jazz is a handy hooker.
Our spine is better than last week with the addition of Walsh and Sean O'Sullivan.

This game will be epic. And of a high standard. They are targeting this game as must win and so are we.
Luckily we have a full complement of forwards.

I like this post. Jazz could be a future option for more frequent game time at 9. Let's see how he goes first on the weekend though.

A loss this week and it is season over.

truth be told, the season is over already - I don't very much fancy finishing 8th and having 40 put on us by the likes of Manly, Roosters or Souths who will likely finish in 5th
That is exactly what will happen, but making the 8 is a minor achievement and will be a hell of a lot better for team and supporter morale than finishing 10th again

Hell yeah I'd take that over missing the finals. Shame we're not looking at 6/7 though, with the massive gap between the top 5 and everyone else that's a huge opportunity for an average team to grab a finals win.

Didn’t he have a few HIA issues against the knight early in the season as well? Had to get a medical clearance afterwards… Twice in the season and we’re only half way through 😕

Hope they are looking after him.
