Bit left field but what if warriors 'need' a prop wing on the field, written into the contract or something. So now kosi has a few games under his belt, Ken can finally have some time off to heal (obviously playing with sternum injury no wonder he's a shadow of himself)
After watching Peter O'Sullivan last week on Warriors TV or whatever, he said he's super impressed with how Ken has come alongIdeas out of left field are where i live. But hell bro you went far port side to the extreme with a suggestion of contracted props on the wing. No criticism from me, at least you made a discussion point.
What I think fans in general are missing this season, is that with the return of Aitken they have....finally....a fast backline.
Ignoring Ken in this discussion, the arrival of Walsh, the return of Aitken, and the addition of Montoya and Berry.....even Kosi....all of a sudden delivered the Warriors a fast backline solution.
We gnash and wail about a slow backline when we field guys like Blake Green, Ken, and Fusitua or OSsullivan.
Well all those guys are gone, except for Ken.
And Ken on attack, next to Aitken, ain't seeing any ball from his Center most of the time as Aitken races in to score off a Walsh halfbreak.
And when Ken does get ball, it is from a cut out pass from Walsh which skips Aitken and sends Ken in unopposed.
In other words, the line up POS has schemed, does not rely on the left winger needing any pace in attack.
And that Ken wing is going to be protected in defence by the experience of Aitken and Curran.
Therefore Kens hit ups again put him in the don't throw me out with the bath water column.
Walsh and Kodi mean time, are the fastest halves pairing in the NRL.
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is also quick enough, and when you feature Berry in that right edge mix, you have more speed than you need, especially since you could have Montoya as a finisher to sweeping open side right attacking plays.
Speed speed speed.
We are now fast.
Thank Pos for that, and Ken is a nice point of difference in an otherwise fast backline....pretty much what he should have been from the beguiling.
Good too that he has a strong defender next to him in Aitken he can trust. Looks like a strong defensive line up as long as Nikorima turns up. Need to hit Sivo hard early, doesn’t seem to like being hit hard.I'm excited to see Berry in a different positions. He has really impressed defensively and shown good speed. Not too much in way of setting up a winger yet (early days) but so far him playing wing doesn't sound like a stupid idea
Crusher tackle penalty incoming....Good too that he has a strong defender next to him in Aitken he can trust. Looks like a strong defensive line up as long as Nikorima turns up. Need to hit Sivo hard early, doesn’t seem to like being hit hard.
