Geez bit rough on Chanel Harris-Tavita's kicking considering he's got a quad issue currently. Just be thankful we didn't have O'Sullivan out there letting blokes waltz past him over the try line.

Will be raining next Friday on the coast, good battle up the middle against a decent Newcastle pack. Kicking will need to improve in that weather against Pearcey though, hopefully Chanel Harris-Tavita's quad is better by then.

I was really impressed with Sironen, he was so good defending and watching those Bunty runs, I've really missed them.

Next week cannot come soon enough.

Still undecided on the quality of the Titans, but hard to fault our effort and defence. The 2nd half with a two man bench was top quality in that heat.

A nice balance between a lot of positives and a couple of things to work on, Chanel Harris-Tavita needs to improve his kicking and Kodi needs to demand the ball at times. Backs are still a bit clunky in general.

Forward pack is top 4 potential though and defensively we were great. If we can keep up doing what we are doing though, we’ll win more games than we lose.

Pompey according to Brown, also noted Chanel Harris-Tavita's quad issue that he hasn't done much work in the last month so he's underdone.

Great first up effort. Our defence was first class. Our attack looked clunky, slow and disjointed but early season.

Chanel Harris-Tavita was injured and enoughs been said but neither half fill me with confidence or took control.

Both teams had good handling and low errors given the heat and first game.

Roll on next week and a tough up front battle against the Knights.

Awesome defense, and forward pack was dominate.

If we had some speed at dummy half and on the wings I think it would give us a whole new dimension to the attack.

I enjoyed seeing Euan Aitken defending. Another good buy.

But let's not forget. Every time we make the Finals we win 6 out of our first 10 games.

So we need to find another 5 wins in the next 9 matches.

But so far looking good.
