A week off might be just what Roger Tuivasa-Sheck needs. He was clearly frustrated in the last game. Too much pressure on him to be the team’s saviour.
A change in captaincy would help as well. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck just isn’t the type of guy to push a point home to the ref when it’s needed. The problem is who to choose as a replacement given some players wanting to leave & the general form of others in the team.

Harris would be the obvious choice
If the player’s families can come across then he’d be an automatic pick as captain. I honestly can’t see many other candidates apart from Harris.

Having a fullback as captain was a silly idea right from when it was announced. You can't be an effective fullback, and be on top of the ref at the same time. An effective captain needs to be in the front line and near the middle of the field to be in his ear.
But is Harris confident enough to take on the establishment. He seems a quiet kinda guy. Maybe we get Maloney back...he'd take it on

That also fits with my absolutely-no-NRL-proof-to-back-it-up-but-so-what theory that no-one in the spine should be captain.
Unless you're Cameron Smith and you're a captain/official.
Just hope we get Fusitua back and it'd be good to have Tevaga back - but given the lack of Canterbury Cup, etc, to get back up to lack-of-speed, I imagine he'd be a bench option.

You're not wrong, forgot about Gutherson. Still think captain is best suited to someone near the middle.

What a dumpster fire of a team lmao. Why is the random Panther and immediate inclusion over King? Why do we have a half and hooker/utility on the same bench?
I get that we are light on troops, but fucking hell. Green must be an immensely manipulative person that’s managed to wow the entire coaching team or something. He’s sure as fuck bringing zero value to the team in the 80 minutes a week we see him. Hasn’t done so since Shaun Johnson left. We will probably lose Chanel Harris-Tavita as a result at the rate too tbh
