Murchie is a big body but the phrase "Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane so far" sounds apt

O''Sulivan just needed to get a signature after missing out on so many players - that he had to sign an old roosters SG Ball player that was available.

For mine murchie doesnt look any better than a local fox player like King Vuniyayawa or Preston Riki.

exact same thoughts. has a Dane Carlaw feel to him. interested to see how he takes to a starting role.

Burr is a passenger, id have paasi starting and king onto the bench.

Not saying we are going to win, cause Im not confident we have a team that could but this is the least angry Ive felt in a while upon seeing a team, so for me its a good start for the new coach.
Ken and Fusi on the wings and Herbert in his best poition to date and then with Chanel Harris-Tavita and Papali'i in the 17 looks solid to me.
Problem on the day wont be the Warriors it will be the blokes in purple.

People bag out Papali'i but want Pulu back in? Pulu had 6 good rounds in 2018 before injuring his foot, and he has done nothing since. Last year he was invisible in a NSW cup pack full of rookies. Will be interested to see if he gets re-signed end of season at this rate, can't imagine it would be on the same money we got him from GC on.

They were just talking on the Matty Johns podcast a bit about the Warriors. About how Sheck used to play exactly like Tedesco, parked in behind each play the ball ready to follow the ball and sniff out an offload. Then he came to the Warriors, and we had him playing the opposite way out wide as the extra man on the block play which nullifies his footwork. Damn, we really ruining Rog sad times. I often watch those Roosters highlights, he was incredible round the ruck. If he stayed at the Chooks, he'd have 3 premierships by now.

TAKE THE SHACKLES OFF PEYTON, GIVE THE BOY FREE REIGN!!!

Worrying article suggesting some players may pull out this week? The senior leadership group of players need to step up and lead but maybe they are part of the problem.

Payten asked the group if anyone wanted to go home and no one out their hand up.

Yeah old news this was the day after SK got sacked,Since then word on the street is everyones in 100 % as if they go home they have no Job.

A great opportunity for the emotional rollercoaster to work in the teams favour.

If they totally capitulate they only help sign their own resignation with the club.

As per usual who knows what team will turn up. Logic says they haven't got a chance, but history suggests otherwise.

It's not hard to imagine in the heat of the moment, given some players by what we've heard really loved Kearney. With all thats going on, being away from home and in a sort of isolation bubble. Emotions are likely running high as it is even before the sacking, so the immediate out pour may have been I wanna go home. I'm sure the senior playing group and coaching staff have managed to calm the situation. We also don't even know if that was true, it was only vermin reporters that can't be trusted on a good day who wrote that anyway. I guess we will find out on Friday just how together the group is.

The win percentage for teams sacking their coach the next week is in the 30% range, add in our recent form against the Storm, and the fact Storm don't often lose two games back to back. Things really are stacked against us, it will be interesting to see how the team responds with their backs against the wall. I'll certainly be keeping my eyes out for the lip droppers, and if it's senior players then the rest of the season is gonna be really messy.

not sure how its worrying honestly, if there is anyone who wants to pull out and go home, fuck em off then. one easy way to separate who is keen to put in and who isnt. i dont care who they are, if they are too sad to play because kearney got sacked then fuck off. not like it can get any worse really

If anyone pulls out they should be stood down for the rest of the year. Its bullshit kearney only got fired he didnt die. He still makes a mill doing fuckall for the next couple years. Just shows how mentally fragile and weak the current squad are.
