Don't get me wrong I am one of the biggest SK haters on this forum.

But to give him some credit he has said he needs to change and has made some changes this season. I'm just curious as to whether he will stick to his word.

Changes brought on by injury and, in the case of Lisone, being released just prior to the start of the main season. I would be interested to see if the changes SK makes are because of a new game plan or if he's trying players in different positions to better fit his old game plan.

It's fairly likely we are going to lose again this week but I am excited to see how some of the new guys go, especially Katoa and AK.

Long term, if AK proves himself at centre we can put Fusitua back on the wing and have two ball-playing centres - AK & Hiku.
As well as having our goal kicking issues sorted. Will be especially interested to see what his defence is like playing centre.

After we get bashed up this weekend and we stay on and have to get some hired players there maybe just maybe the ship might refloat. Ones that are sitting on the fringes in oz. just waiting for that opportunity close to home. Wouldn't be any worse than what we have had in the past.Maybe the virus is a blessing for the warriors god I will hang onto anything to see us turn this around.

I find it amusing that Brisbane can get a dispensation to add a forward to their roster for this weeks game because they have 4 forwards out, one of them because of suspension. Surely there is another forward in their top 30?

I know we’re going to loose this weekend but would be interesting to see what happens if you took hodgson, Crocker & Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad out of that team how we’d get on (based on the current injury list). I hope the warriors get up for the game otherwise it’s a case of “pack up & ship out!” pointless otherwise!

We are going to win this weekend, I can feel it in my waters.
Well, one thing I feel in my waters, is that given the way the NRL rolls, you fans are about to witness a rare sight on Saturday night and that is the Warriors being given the rub of the green on the refereeing decisions. It will be done in an attempt to keep us in the comp. Or at least they will avoid making the usual terribad calls they do against us, as if they do they know we might give up and go home.

I don't mean this to be cynical, I am actually expecting this dynamic.

Nice post - AK will be one to follow in the game.

I would put emphasis on the words Long Term in your post however. Hiku is out now for the whole season as you are aware having come home to support his wife.

If Fusitua goes back on the wing then some other inexperienced guy needs to go centre as Herbert has also returned home.

Therefore I think Fusitua is locked at centre for the rest of the season, however long that lasts, and AK has a shot at being his partner if he plays well.

Don't screw this up AK. This is your first grade opportunity in your more naturally suited position. Never thought he looked like a half although the experience he gained there in ISP will undoubtedly help his ball distribution.

AK is a rich man's Blake Ayshford.

As far as i'm aware he has always been a half? He only played at centre for Penrith ISP, because he was the 3rd best half. I like how he controlled the CCup game last week at half, much better than old man Green did in FG.

I agree with your comments Wrighty.

What I did notice is that Beale is now with the squad. I can see SK slotting Beale straight in at centre unfortunately when he is available. Does anyone know how many weeks away Beale is from returning from injury?

AK needs to play so well that SK can't drop him. AK is probably one of or the best goal kicker in the entire comp so if he can hold a position on merit it can only be a positive thing for us.

With AK moving to centre, I hope that his defence is up to it. It leaves a few targets on the paddock including our halves.
