That’s the key matchup this round for Warriors results. Sharks lose and they face the Warriors, Roosters and Raiders and could conceivably not win another game.
They beat the knights, they are 6 points above the Warriors with a better pd, which is probably good enough to make the finals.

The Sharks beat an injury ridden and sub standard Cowboys last week.
They weren't actually much chop themselves.
I'd like to see the Knights move Mann back to the halves in place of Lino and they have a couple of handy enough hookers they can bring in.

How good is Jarome Luai going at the moment! Was terrific again last night.
Does anyone know if he qualifies for NSW? Really hope we can get him in a Kiwis jersey soon, just wont be this year.
It doesn't feel like that long ago where we would struggle to field two halves and would have the likes of Nigel Vagana and Tohu Harris playing a makeshift role.
Now we have so many quality options - Luai, Jahrome Hughes, Shaun Johnson, Kodi Nikorima, Dylan Brown, Chanel Harris-Tavita, Paul Turner showing promise on fg debut. The future is looking bright. Would be great if they could organise a 3 test series next year.

And technically Foran and Marshall if talking about a series in the very near term.

Who are we all cheering for tonight guys! Sharks or Knights? It will be more difficult for us if newcastle lose to the sharks.

He still hasn't decided but has already played for Samoa. I think if Brown, Johnson, and Hughes are fit it will be hard to have luai. I personally hope he chooses Samoa, we need the Samoa to catch up to tonga and do what they are doing.

Will be cheering for the Knights since they have the easier run home. Also with them winning it would make it a much bigger showdown between us and the Sharks next week.

Also the physiological effect on the Sharks knowing they lost to a team which the Warriors had dominated only two weeks before our game against the Sharks.
Too many times the Warriors teams of the past had fallen away on the last regular game of the season. The Sharks lose to the Knights and this game becomes our most important game of the season. And who would have thought we’d be thinking that given the start to the year with injures, players coming back to NZ, borrowed players and coaching changes.
You can’t say that this team doesn’t provide drama.

Definitely everything crossed for a Sharkies defeat tonight, just one point would be fine. By 100 points, even better!

Yes, the Sharkies have the lowest points so are the most catchable if we want to make the 8. Plus we want the Knights to soften them up for us next week.

I'm torn, who has more chance of dropping four games? Sharks look a better team but Knights have the easier run home. If we beat Parra we'll just have to death-ride tonight's winner I spose.

Graham and Rudolf on report for the lifting tackle on Lino. Could miss the Warriors next week. I reckon it was bad enough for a week too.
