Eels have been slowly slipping into a slump. Last 5 weeks:

2 point win over Bulldogs
2 point win over the Sharks
2 point win over Dragons
14 point win over Melbourne
38 point loss to Souths

Only 1 really good performance in the past 5 weeks and beatable next week.

I would take that slump anyday.

He was so good in that game I linked with that engagement of the line and drawing the centre then the pass, what Im asking of Kodi to start doing, not just attacking the line or an immediate pass, but being a team 5/8th and getting that clinical pass with ball out in front two hands, always puts forwards into a trance. But I dont know if you can teach an old dog new tricks.

I think Paul Turner is our future if Hayze is destined to swap to centre. I dont think we need to be paying $600k and IMO potentially a better player and we wont be Jock Blocking our NZ Warriors developed players. Which is what Gould is all about and what Jamie Soward was on about and what half the Aussie media were spouting a couple months back, and they are right. We have the talent, but we need to develop it, keep it, and then coach it well (thats the only part that concerns me, we shall see)

The Roosters depth is seriously insane, particularly in the forwards. JWH, Taukeiaho, Cordner, Crichton, Radley, Liu all frontline stars with Tupouniua, Butcher, Collins, Aubusson, the loan star then throw in SBW as injury cover. Stacked!
