Payton said that he wants to replace Chanel Harris-Tavita with the least disruption to the rest of the positions. It's the Mole so don't worry about what he says, particularly about the Warriors.

On the plus side we get another look at Curran. I secretly am a fan, his fatness notwithstanding.
Why aren't we going after Greg Inglis for a short term contract? He's back training and looking sharp apparently and openly said he's thinking about playing Origin. How good would it be to see him in a Warriors jersey
Because even in a best case scenario we are probably looking at 2022 to 2023 for our title shot so would only consider a "rental" then.
Using the word rental in its traditional sense rather than the Alvarro/Hetherington sense we have seen this year during Covid.
I think we have more chance of winning with Harris at 7 than turner. Remember the almighty epic storm match in 2019 with the proud and plucky Chanel Harris-Tavita and harris in the halves and we all but won a mighty match.
That said I think in the long term interests of the club we should risk losing and play turner since we aren't making the eight and secondly since our points differential is better than some of the teams below us we an be confident of not getting the spoon.
On the other hand the club may have a read on Paul Turner already from seeing him in training. The thinking from the warriors maybe that every two points we get is precious. even if we concede we won't make the 8. The club may place a high value on eeking our way up to 10th place instead of finishing 13th/14th.
The Warriors maybe very close to signing some good players, and every win we have makes us look like a better place to be those prospects.
For example maybe if we had 6 points right now instead of ten we might not have Kane Evans or Euan Aitken. Or alternatively both may have signed but may have costed us more.

That is all very, very pretty. Lovely player to watch.
Further to my post last month; find a moment there where he doesn't either score or die with the ball. A silky runner he is, hearty he is, a playmaker he is not.
Still, it would be lovely seeing him play with that confidence again. Teams are pretty good at shutting him down though, very rarely gets an opportunity one on one, or with a staggered defensive line.
