Training the house down you say?

Have you got any pre season still shots of him leading the dune runs to back this claim up?

Without those shots, it's gonna be hard to give an indepth analysis on wether he is the next coming of Jesus like was done with Ravutaumada.

Unfortunate for Chanel Harris-Tavita if ruled out, but I am really keen to see Turner get a run and no better opposition than the Dogs.

My comment about his training ethic was from Payton who said he was doing well. He must be ticking boxes as far as training goes or he would not be in contention for debut. Still shots mean nothing, whether on the dunes, weight room or field training.

To be honest, The Dogs have been playing ok - they are bottom of the table for a reason, but the last month or so they have pushed the other teams all the way. I would not be surprised if they beat us!

I hope it is not spoilt by penalties when the tackled player stays down to milk a penalty and as soon as he gets the penalty he is up on his feet as if nothing is wrong - damn crusher tackle milking crap

Didn't realise he started his junior years with the Hikurangi Stags, same as Dylan Brown.

Turner was once considered the better prospect when they were 15 or so. Got snapped super young by the Bunnies to play Harold Mats. I'm sure if we had better development he would be on par with Brown.

Happy for the kid to get his shot. Has a lot of talent. Been a while since having a rookie that can break a game open (Katoa aside)

Turner is still 18th man and can come in. He may have been told privately he is going to start by Payten, but a bit of possum going on to keep the spotlight off him till final teamlists 1 hour before.

That's my hope anyway, don't want to watch Harris in the halves.
