Dunedin warrior

He is wasted in the middle, you lose so much of his upside and it is a higher wear position.

If you got Roger Tuivasa-Sheck running off him like McKinnon used to do off Rapira and Price he could be even more effective. Often he has his arms free after a good run and there’s no support to offload to.
Agree about the risk of wear and tear though especially given his injury history over the last few years.

4th in tackles made and 9th in run metres Tohu Harris is having an incredible season which is being hidden in our mediocrity.

He’s great in either position but I think our pack is better with him at 13 especially if Katoa is back on an edge.
Like the mainland way of thinking lol. I think he's relishing the role of being able to pick options from the middle of the field, cover either side, even move into the line if there's a chance. Its just a shame there's a bit lacking on the edges to capitlise on that. Hope it comes

For me this is probably the strongest side we’ve fielded all year.
The sharks on the other hand are probably putting out their worst- they’re a bit like manly where they could give it a shake at full strength but they don’t have much depth.
Didn’t help losing xerri and Morris before the season started and with moylan and fafita out I reckon we match up well with them.
Its a smart move playing harris on the right edge for this one- their left side defence is terrible- chads a turnstile and not sure what’s happened to graham- 3rd most missed tackles in the comp- he used to be the man.
Can’t believe I’m saying it but I think we’ll win this.

Warriors: 1. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck 2. David Fusitua 3. Patrick Herbert 4. Peta Hiku 5. Ken Maumalo 6. Kodi Nikorima 7. Blake Green 8. Jamayne Taunoa-Brown 9. Wayde Egan 10. Adam Blair 11. Eliesa Katoa 12. Tohu Harris 13. Karl Lawton 14. Agnatius Paasi 15. Jack Hetherington 16. Isaiah Papalii 17. Jazz Tevaga 18. Chanel Harris-Tavita 20. Jack Murchie 21. Lachlan Burr 22. Adam Pompey
Jack Murchie is dropped from the 17 and Jazz and Lawton are listed ahead of him.
Lawton continues to get a forward starting spot,

My mind is now made up about Payten and would prefer to have SK back over him. Lawton was only used as a hooker by SK.

There's a reason SK got the sack...Lawton is not a hooker...he's a Jazz v2.0 but maybe a bit more active or dynamic.

I'm pleased he's in the side...but don't want him selected as a hooker.

Respect your views Swanley, but do you think Lawton is an NRL standard forward?
Bearing mind the NRL is the best comp in the world?

Followed the Sharks closely the last couple of seasons and dont worry they can definitely self destruct with the best of them. Just when they get on a roll they can come with an error or 10 that stops all momentum, there set completion rate is way worse than ours, so your never out of a game with them if u can keep it close, and as Defence pointed out that Chad/Wade Graham edge has been leaking points like a...um... big leaking thing....so definitely an edge to target.

Problem is they also have strike right across the park and if they set up camp long enough down our end Shaun Johnson is likely to tear us new one.

If numbering is anything to go by glad to see Tohu Harris back out on an edge...its like Payten was reading this thread ;)
