General NRL 2019 Round 9 - General Discussion

A lot of mentions on here about how the sharks keep on winning even with so much adversity. I was thinking the same thing last night and it dawned on me they are a really good fuckiing footy team who have strong leaders that take charge and the youth follow by example. Almost Storm like wouldn't you say. We are probably missing a bit of that with Mannering and Shaun Johnson gone from our team this year. Don't @ me by attacking princess and his leadership the guy was our highest point scorer and regardless of what we think of him he was surely held in high esteem by his teammates. leadership is key to developing a will to win in the team because guys who have been there and done that will lead by action and inspire others to follow suite. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Harris are our only two leaders right now. This is probably also why the Titans struggle so much, too many individuals and egos not enough leaders.

Don't disagree about the toughness, but realistically they were handed their victory against the Storm last week by the refs, after the whistleblowers diabolical performance in our game against the Storm in previous game on Anzac day. NRL payback I suppose.... as long as a Sydney club benefits, all good!

At the same time, the Storm were atrocious at Shark Park... post Warrior stress it seems, so the stars aligned nicely for Sharkies.

Has had some good games and then some very bad ones. But certainly not earning that money he's supposedly on.

One of those players where he's probably best with a 14 on his back waiting for an injury to occur on the field and as a result has never locked down a starting position.

Will be interesting to see if he gets selected for NSW again.
don't think you'll see Tyrone in a Blues jumper again, Jack Wighton looks like been the utility

Panthers players and officials probably thinking now that things weren't so bad under Griffin.

Commentators talking about moving Whare to fix up their right side. Tigers no problem we will score on your left now.

Wonder if the Panthers have it in them to be the comeback kings like they have been in the past.
I Reckon this is nowhere near over yet.

Panthers decision making is just so poor, like Nathan Cleary spent an off-season on the synies.

Atleast we’re not the panthers
Yeah I do get a strange satisfaction from watching teams who are more sh!t or at least as sh!t as us. That would be the Titans, with a fair bit of advantage on the paddock, who got owned by the Sharks last night competitively speaking and then tonight the ‘Top 4’ Panthers just imploding and showing NO defence. Poor bastards. Now you know what it’s like to be a Warriors fan!!!

Solid line up alright- players like Williams, capewell and Flanagan missing out all together.
Btw who's Morgan? Auto correct for prior?
All these injuries could be a blessing in disguise for them- guys like nikora, uele and xerri have been given a chance and have grabbed it with both hands.

Yeah my bad that was supposed to be Prior.

Felt nice to write down a nice balanced team with impact from the bench and an awesome forward pack!
