Watched the game in a pub with the sound off because of live music and I havn’t read the forum so I’ll give my independant view:

Disappointing but we were not far off. It’s the 1%ers that keep killing us, not lack of intensity like our 2 & 3rd season games. High quality game in regards to handling and intensity for the most part. Big lift in intensity 10 minutes into the second half from both teams with the game on the line. Next scorer wins and they scored.

We still could have won in the last 20 but lack of composure again and the score blew out. Poor game management and composure. Green didn’t make the difference!

3 guys were important to us. Scheck had another great game. Green and Bully are not at their peak and that is the difference. The teams that are beating us have their leaders performing. Their 1 and 7 outperformed our spine.

Green is a worry in that he’s offering little in the way of set plays. We seem to be still all about individual brilliance and with that comes mistakes as we’re pushing to create all the time. Flawed strategy over time.

The young guys all performed ok. Keep them in the team. Chanel is doing well but still has plenty to learn.

Kodi is our only hope for the team and Kearney’s sake. We are slipping from the top 8 now but I still think a few things click (Kodi 🙏) and we could be competitive. We are not a long way off, yet it seems so far away...

We just signed a half to run and create holes. Chanel proved tonight why he isnt ready yet. Bro, you contradict yourself way too much for people to actually take your bullshit seriously.
This is the issue though, Kodi is known, and why hes only 80 games at 26yo, that he runs the ball himself, hes no Corey Norman which we could have signed who creates holes.

If SK can beat Kodi with a stick shouting, Pass the ball and take the tackle, we can only hope. Care less what people who dont know what the issues are in the team think. Im pointing out where we are missing. You missed the other points as well bro.

stayed up to 4am and copped 2 pairs of jordan 4's. was pretty damn excited and in a great mood. so thank you very much warriors you just find a way to change my mood and suck the joy out of life

couple of points
1. our line speed and our kick chase is pathetic. a bomb goes up and our guys jog to it. In defence it looks like we run forward 2m and stop and wait for the defence
2. i am not going to sit here and blame SK. to me the blame for this season is on the front office. seriously thinking rookies can fill in for veterans is retarded. our recruitment was pretty pathetic in the offseason(bar one or two singings in herbert and ahmau)
3. we lack zero urgency or intensity at all.
4. we need a domiant half that is in and around the ruck yelling at guys where to go and where to run. it looks like everyone just kinda stands around. take a hit up here and there and then spread it wide and hope for the best
5 . at best we are an average team playing poorly.
I haven’t seen this mentioned before but you’re right. Kearney can only coach whatever cattle they can bring here

How does Mt Smart look so dreary on a sunny day...Answer... Our teams crap performance and lack of desire to win!.
Bitterly disappointed and wondering why the F^"* I am going to C bus Super stadium and Suncorp Stadium this year... should have boycotted another year!

One thing I will say in defence of the team is that the Knights got away with murder all night in the ruck. Thier line speed was incredible but I don’t think there was one offside penalty. In my mind there should have been at least a couple of sin bins if that game is reffed properly. We won the penalty count but they won the tactics and game

Think more like 1999. That's where we are headed ATM.
I could be wrong, but in 2004 we finished with the same points as wooden spooners but had a better F/A. 1999 could’ve been a worse team

Quickly Kodi it's not too late to backflip on the contract, I think you still have a few days up your sleeve to save your career from drowning at the Warriors.

Get the first flight out, right now!!!
He was probably texting Bennett, Any room at south's koro? I'll play for free!? Lol

It ended up in play the ball 3.4s for them and close to 3.8 for us, totally agree. We are use to 3.3s.

Well I got 13+ to Knights, only positive.

I’m gonna try this at home next time. Mute the telly. Get the kids to bang a drum and play a ukele. Sounds like you were watching a different game!

Kodi turned 25 a month ago. Stop making shit up to try and make something sound worse than it is so you can push your agenda.

Also, how is someone supposed to pass the ball AND take the tackle?

We looked badly coached.
Probably a better debate for the Kearney thread but how many of our losses this year have been to being out coached, or a bit of bad luck/refs calls etc?

The Tigers and Manly games I'd put to being out coached which is frustrating as they both have new coaches. Ours is into his third year. Getting those clubs early is an advantage as they would still be getting their shit together. A credit to how good their coaches are.

Today Brown had his side up for it and won the points decision over Kearney. A lot of sides kick for the side line to slow play down or negate the other sides kick return but it seems to be something they do then have to come back to either not setting it up or get reminded from the coach. The Knights were relentless with the tactic.

We looked good in the trials like the whole squad knew what was going on. Even though it was a poor opposition we looked good in round 1. Since then it has all been down hill. Sure some injuries haven't helped but the side has been losing confidence or generally out played. Not all of the issues are on the coach but trying to turn around the confidence or adjusting tactics or the defense is on the coach.

It's almost like they try plan A and if the opposition turn up for it they collectively say "ah well, not working this week, we'll try plan A again next week".

It is hard to fathom screwing up last tackle that many times, worse is that we had lots of time to screw it up, it’s not like there was heaps of pressure.

When the pocket ref called locked in when Pearce had Blair's leg in a figure four leg lock and the other ref pinged us. I knew we were in for a rough day. He even had the fucking take that sheep shaggers look on his Justin Beiber ass face straight after he blew the cock...opps, whistle too!
