Blows my mind that David Fifita is only 19 years old.
Aside from the fact he looks 35, he plays as strong and tough and classy as a 150 game pro, not a teenage rookie.

How much of a dick is Roberts? cheap shot on Oates - these guys must be part brain dead, important games like this and they do dumb shyte like that, aka Dylan Brown.

Theres a difference being fired up, don't have a problem with that but then there's cheap shots like Roberts did & Brown and Turpin the week before. Oates isn't a grub, no need to elbow him in he temple.

Su'a was trying to assert himself in the tackle and went too hard. Roberts was akin to a king hit from behind on the night club strip.

I was surprised a send off wasn't mentioned as a possibility for the Roberts one, shows how far things have gone to barely even considering a send off. In the 90's after a bad head high tackle the ball carrier would still be on the ground, barely time for a replay and the ref is pointing to the sideline. To much money involved now and to much scrutiny on the refs decisions now that if they send someone off and its not as bad as initially thought they will get hammered all week. A shame as player safety and enforcing the rules should be the priority.
The Roberts shot was barely mentioned until Andy Rammond on the sideline brought it up. They were sorting out if the try should be awarded first but none of the main commentary team mentioned that there would be another incident to look at. They didn't mention it when it first happened either so I was beginning to think it would of been brushed over like it didn't happen.

Benji Marshall was superstar game breaker early in his career. Had a period where he looked past it. But now he seems to be aging like a fine wine.

Half-time and Greg Alexander saying the lack of 50 50 calls going the storms way is affecting them. Maybe it does have an affect after all. Be interesting how they go in the second half.

Yip, although Leilua twice has been in with his knees, cost his team an 8 point try. Didn't recognise Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad at first, had the hair chopped. Hoping Canberra win, exciting game though.
