I'm little surprised that people want Ayshford and Lisone gone I get the space issue with Roache, if Luke is ready. But to expect Burr with 1 game under his belt to be ahead of Ayshford? Yea i dont get it.
Can’t speak for everyone but for me it’s two reasons:

Burr’s played a lot of back row, Aysh hasn’t and we don’t need centre cover on the bench.

Lisone I could live with but Burr has greater minutes...

Changes made to the extended bench for round two

Isaiah Papalii and Issac Luke are in line to make their first NRL appearances of the year for the Vodafone Warriors after being named on an extended bench for Sunday’s clash with the Tigers in Sydney.
Papali’i missed his side’s convincing 40-6 round one victory over the Bulldogs at Mt Smart Stadium last week after being stood down, while hooker Luke was sidelined as he recovers from shoulder surgery.
“Issac is also making good progress in his recovery and is certainly a good chance of playing against the Tigers.”
But as the Vodafone Warriors prepare to square off against the Tigers at Campbelltown Stadium, coach Stephen Kearney has opted to bring both Kiwi internationals back into his squad.
“Isaiah paid the price last week after failing to live up to the standards we expect of our players,” Kearney said.
“He’s full of remorse about what happened and he’s also hungry to win his place back in the side.
“Issac is also making good progress in his recovery and is certainly a good chance of playing against the Tigers.”
After impressing in his NRL debut against the Bulldogs, 21-year-old playmaker Adam Keighran will line up in the halves again alongside seasoned campaigner Blake Green.
There are no changes to the starting side which took the field in round one.
Like the Vodafone Warriors, the Tigers will head into Sunday’s match undefeated after beating the Sea Eagles last week.
“The Tigers played very well against Manly and we will need to be on top of our game this Sunday,” Kearney added.
How's getting shit-faced and failing a breath test a "Technicality"? Lucky boy he got tested where he did.

If he'd gotten into his car we might not be having to choose between Burr and Papali'i because he's out for the season recovering from a car accident that happened while he was under the infuence/out for forever because he's in a wheelchair?

That said, it sounded as if the 1 week stand-down was Isaiah's full and final punishment - add a bit of public shaming to that - and if he's "ticked all the boxes", why shouldn't he be in the 17?

Since Luke had no time in the two trials, I'd start him on the bench.

Seriously bro you sound like you've never had a drink in your life and learned everything by watching way to many teen movies and bad TV ads to know just how easy it is to blow over the minimal range. Especially when your at a festival and moving your car from one paddock to another the next fucking day where you cant drive faster than 10kms an hour so highly unlikely he would have hurt himself or anyone else.
Papalii should be straight back in. Burr is the work in progress and he'll get his chances, Papalii is the machine that you are just fine tuning and putting the final coat of wax on before you take him down to the strip to blow people away.
Gee that was a good metaphor bro.
Caught my eye. A head turner.
I do get the impression that Papalii is also a well raised, well turned out young man. I spose I also like him because he's not high profile on the social media platforms, a sure indicator that anyone who's famous takes themselves far too seriously.

I like the team.

Burr won't be dropped, Kearney never drops someone that he has named as a starter.

His talk of Luke coming back and Papalii means that both will play (obviously they are waiting on fitness for Luke).

Ever Hopeful

Bully to come in and swap with Nate if fit.
Nate played well and is our future but will have to bide his time. Bench as is.

My theory is that that will not be the bench if Luke is not fit. I just don't think Kearney will go without a back replacement. I reckon Luke will be 9 and Roache on the bench, or it will be Roache 9 and Beale on the bench.

We've missed pace on the bench for a long, long time. Roache has that, and that is exciting.
