Beside the Warriors, the other two games that really interest me is the Bunnies vs the Dragons and the QLD derby between the Broncos and the Cowboys.

Also interested to see how the Bulldogs go this weekend to see if the Aussie experts were right: if the bulldogs are just useless or if the Warriors are better than Soward says.

Anyone else tipping Canberra for an upset over Melbourne? Always like to pick an upset each week in my tipping and felt it may come from there. Canberra looked solid last week and down there in Canberra is always tough. Will be intriguing.

Also struggling to pick a winner out of cows and broncs.

I'm picking Melbourne narrowly but would not be shocked at all

Nice pick, the Raiders have that best attack, most unpredictable thing that the storm struggle against when playing motivated Warriors sides.

Cowboys to win IMO. Broncos pack is overrated (high on potential, but not realised) and losing Lodge to an engine room that was already a little light won't help.

Not sold on the Raiders. They were industrious but not dominant. Still picking the Storm.

Knights V Panthers is the toughest one to pick for me. If I was going to take a punt on a real outsider I would put a sneaky bet on the Titans.

Yeah certainly don't quote me on it as I'm definitely not steel balls. But I always try and pick one upset each round as a way of trying to get ahead in my tipping.

Just changed my pick to the Cowboys as well but hear the Broncs have won their last 6 of 7 over them at Suncorp. Always close with those too though.

I'm not convinced about the knights yet.. Ponga to 6 is still an experiment.

Agree. I love a punt. Got my Maumalo FTS and Warriors 13+ multi hit last week. I'll create thread tonight. I think we had one previously but not many keen punters

I love a punt but it can tend to ruin the enjoyment of watching each game for me.

I keep it quite modest though.
$10 on straight head to heads which usually pays somewhere between $300 - 800

$3 on each game result 12- or 13+ which usually pays somewhere between $25 - 50k

$2 on each game result 1 - 10 alternative margins which pays in six figures.

I hit the H2H multi once of twice a year.

I've had the 12- or 13+ at 6 from 6 a couple times which gets exciting.
I've had the alternation margins at 5 from 5 once. I have a feeling Ill hit one of these one time in my life time.

Reading your post I realised how little I understand of gambling jargon, I dont even know what head to head means (sure ive heard it said lots) but those figures in numerals after all that Mandarin sure look inviting !

Head to Head is just who wins each match.
I reckon if I am investing so much time following this sport I may as well try and make some money. Picking a perfect round is not common but certainly not outlandish. I usually pay for my season membership and then some when one comes home.

I generally stick h2h unless the odds are poor. A while ago I switch to get more for lower odds as I tend to look for 500 return minimum. This week is drags raiders cows and warriors. $25 for 800 odd

The other mob are top four contenders, the Dragons are seriously underpowered by injury. Be great to see the pride of the league humbled here.
