General NRL 2019 Round 19 - General Discussion

So, which result is more likely tomorrow?

1) Warriors blow a golden opportunity to go into the 8.

2) We scrape another close win only to see the Broncos destroy the Titans and overtake us and leave us at 9th still.

Sending Ponga off to sinbin for competing for the ball was a joke. That was a simple lunge for the ball and was called shoulder charge. That was reminiscent of Blair's mysterious send off a few weeks ago. Bloody useless reffing. On one side they're being overly cautious, on the other, they continue play around a knocked out Hiku.

How bout they just screw the modern rules and use common sense? Cos the rules since 2000 have not been interpreted consistently at all.

Live I thought it was bullshit but on the replay it looked worse. Don’t think it was worth a sin bin but penalty on the harsher side of fair as he did tuck the shoulder.
Wouldn’t have even had a second look if the player hadn’t been injured though

B.

Broncos are a good side that still have bad patches. We're an average side that has good patches when all fit. They're likely to fire.

Completely disagree. Unnecessary elbow in the face.

I doubt Ponga was aiming up, I reckon it was self preservation.
