Satae.

I don’t know why.

First impressions?

But I’ve been a fan since the choke game last season when the commentators jokingly calling him satay. As in bbq beef satay.

I just remember my eyes lighting up when I first saw him

“what a fooking big boppa!!”. It was love at first sight.

But that’s all he’s been ever since. So it’s now time for that big boppa to step up and silence his critics with some big hits and big runs!!

I see Pulu is back in contention .But Satae 20 runs for 230 meters that's what we need .SK is sticking with Herbert which is good to see . Obviously a few of our
Forwards are being put on notice .With Sao ,Satae an Pulu sniffng around
On the Jazz thing I think it should be a horses for courses approach .But it's a
Good team .

I watched him closely. He has an old head so knows where to be, and how to score some stats but I agree he is past his use by date. A terrible signing.
Disagree that he's "a terrible signing" .... I'd say "a terrible signing for the money he's reportedly on".

Hopefully with PO'S and Smith on board, our future signings will be less than who is available and more about the value and culture they bring to the club. Be great not to be paying overs for players whose next contract is with Summerset Retirement Villages.

The Storm always bring bad weather with them when they visit Auckland.

I would not be surprised if it is a wet , low scoring game.

Good they can take it from here.

Wonder how Burr feels. Hasn't put a foot wrong and gets dropped to the bench for a guy who whos been our most inconsistent all year. Not sure about this method from kearney...
Hopefully it's some coaching master stroke, start with Blair to settle the game early and weather the storm (no pun intended) and bring on Burr for next 50 and Blair to finish off the last 10 minutes if it's another 12-10 score line

Well yes, but there's an NRL minimum wage. They wouldn't have approved a contract for $25,000. :woot:

Coaching and masterstroke. Two words that don't appear together on this site often and I suspect will not appear again for many years to come.

Looks more of a back row but plays prop.
Similar to the Sam Lousi mould at 6.4-6.5

Been pretty good from what i have seen of him.

If he's a young Aussie who is starting to demonstrate promise, does that mean he'll be off to a Sydney club and dominating as soon as his contract is up?

NRL.com is reported this morning in Oz:

“.....Melbourne's Origin quartet of Will Chambers, Felise Kaufusi, Josh Addo-Carr and Cameron Munster are all travelling straight to Auckland ahead of the Storm's clash with the Warriors on Saturday.

The club expects all four to back up at this stage pending assessment over the next 48 hours.”

They’ll be pumped after last night, even more so for Chambers, Kaufusi and Munster, who got the, er, lucky win. 😉
