You'd wonder how much sitting still in a plane for 3-4 hours stuffs a back injury up further/stops it from healing as quickly as it might otherwise.

Good call to leave Roache out but I'd really like to see Lawton start and Luke on the bench.

Still think we might need to play conservative take-the-two-points/grind it out rather than "let the ball sing" footy until the Panthers show they're not up to the fight. If they do.

Warriors: Issac Luke is set to start at hooker with Nathaniel Roache (back) and Chanel Harris-Tevita dropping out of the Warriors squad on Thursday.

This is my preferred combination at hooker, Luke and Lawton... so no excuses as long as Lawton gets valuable time and Luke looks himself in the mirror!

Food for thought, Luke is only in the line up because of the freed up Shaun Johnson money. If we still had Shaun Johnson and we had've lost Luke by not matching the other teams offer then it would Lawton and Jazz tomorrow night.

Luke when he is up for the fight is a fierce warrior and has top draw defence. If he turns up look for our defence around the ruck to be an upgrade on last week. And he needs to turn up or Roache will be back to take his spot.

Niko simply has to start to last tackle kick to take the pressure off Green.

Surprised how quiet the Warriors have been on this subject. I hope it's not as bad as it could be.
