Got to hand it to Ricky, he kept relatively calm when he had every right to have a $10k dummy spit.

Reckon this will spur the Raiders on next year. Roosters won’t be the same without Cronk to guide them.

Kudos to Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad. He played a blinder before cramp got him. In some alternate universe he’s still playing for the Warriors. However, in this bizarro universe we let him go

Just back from the game.

AMAZING atmosphere. Supported the Raiders and gutted they lost. Those refs, definitely signalled 6 more!!! Crowd went ballistic!! Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad, what a talent. Anyone thinking letting him go was the right thing to do needs to get their head checked in. Massively talented kid and looked dangerous on the field.. he was everywhere.

Rocked my Warriors polo to the game. Loyal to the bitter end. If they ever make it to the final, I will be there no matter what!! Really special watching a GF live.... 80K steaming fans ... unbelievable ...

Tbh i dont think that missed 6 again was that much of a massive game changer because honestly the Raiders despite dominating didnt look like scoring. Roosters defence was turning up time and again. The one clear oppertunity they had Leilua bombed it. I was getting worried that 2nd half cause the longer the Raiders we're dominating without scoring u knew the Roosters would have one oppertunity they'd probably take.....sure enough.

As for that call Cummins called the 6 again, whoever changed it is the one that should face the music. U cant change after the Raiders have played on, Wighton wouldve put the kick in instead of running it im sure. Bad bad call.

I disagree. That 6 again was a massive call. Raiders didn't need to score a try. They could have set up for a field goal.

How right you are BM. I've been to quite a few and I cant recall an atmosphere like this one. The Raiders chant was so loud that it drowned out that poor excuse for entertainment One republic. Bad calls for both teams. One defining moment was when Chooks were down to 12. Raiders have the over lap and Leilua goes for the hero play. They score then and its all over. Fuck me you cant put brains in statues!

and of course the turn over against the Raiders... It happens in the biggest game of the year... only in the NRL... for me ruined a potential classic match!

I think many people thought the same thing. lots of talent and physicality but very little up stairs

Leilua wanted to dominate the contact.

Catch and pass would have seen him put on his ass, looking like a chump. His ego wasn't going to allow that to happen.

I was in the bay full of raiders. They went ballistic with joy when it looked like rapana scored. But yeah, BJ fucked it with his hero ball. Could have been the final right there.

Going back to Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad. Man i was impressed. And the Raider fans loved him like their own. Couldn’t help but feel a little jealous. That was our boy. Fmd.

Great night out. Made me remember why I love league so much.

That is Leilua though, one of the reasons I thought the Raiders would lose: too much of a rocks and diamonds player and he is thick.

It's a tough one because Leilua's physicality was important. He made some good hard tackles and is a constant threat for the defense.

He stuffed up big time not throwing that pass though. But other areas of his game were strong.

Just think Cotric has a big body as well and Leilua for me has the error in him and good for giving a penalty away, think the Raiders were shopping him around so he could be gone next year - thought the Raiders were going good with Cotric in the centres and Simonssen when leilua was injured. Guess it is all fish and chip paper now aye.

Yea that's one the Raiders will look back on with some regret. If he did throw the pass he would be a hero right now.

Split second decisions can change a career significantly. He made the wrong decision.

Thank god I didn't watch the game after a night up taking care of a sick kid. Sounds like I would have just spent 80 minutes getting mad.

Wouldn't have been a grand final to this years season without refs making big inconsistent mistakes.
