Exactly what we did in the majority of our wins and what we definitely did not do last week.

I could tell from the very first set that we were screwed. Half-speed with ball in hand and no impact, particularly from Lisone.
One thing this team has not done well in recent years is making post-contact metres. We started well in that area in the first 5 rounds. However, I worry that that is not a strength of Vete off the bench.

In all honesty if we don't smash it up the guts then the dragons will smash us up the shitter.

This Shaun Johnson injury has come from nowhere. Better to find out now than when you're at the game and the team runs out thought I guess.

Roosters would've planned around Shaun Johnson playing and got caught on the hop. Dragons have time to plan for Lino and he can expect to be targeted.

If we can win this I will be super proud, we have been hit hard with injuries and keep turning up until last week.Fear the bounce back Red V.

What would the Dragons be like without Lafai, Hunt, Graham, Frizzell and Sims? They have had a dream run so be interesting when the injuries inevitably come.

We will struggle up front but i reckon green will have a blinder and his controlling game should complement linos. Big test for us but we can win if things cintinue to click for us.

Heck even announce Kata missing out and bring in someone as cover. But to give up that your half back isn't playing this far in advance seems like a missed trick. The speed that Widdop gets the ball down that channel, Lino and Hiku are going to get tactically pounded now. If you ambush the opposition with it 1 hour before kick off, it is too late to make wholesale game plan and structure changes.

There is a bit of talk about Mason Lino and similarities with Cooper Cronk.

Some calling him Mason Cronk or Cooper Lino.

Now I like Mason Lino but he isn't anywhere near that level.

I can see some similarities I guess, maybe a bit like some people see every other big winger we have had in the team as the Mini Beast.

So i guess that would make Mason Lino the new Mini Cooper.

Some will be disappointed to know he is actually British.

Keen to see how Vete takes his first shot at first-grade this season. He's always been a big boy, I just want to see him throw his weight around.

Because 24 hours before final 17 has to be in, you have to drop 2 off your extended bench. If he wants to play silly buggers then he would have no 18/19th man warming up with the squad. If someone gets injured in the warmup, Shaun Johnson or Kata are the only ones that can come into the squad doing it your way, so we would be playing with 15 or 16 players. It's set up so you can't do the tom foolery anymore.
