Thanks heaps for inviting us here guys. I hope our presence didn't rub salt in the wound.

The battle was definitely lost in the forwards, but it wasn't because your guys couldn't do the job. One word - errors. It reminds me of how the Broncos have played the last few weeks. Dropped balls early in the count. It means you're constantly defending, getting fatigued, and makes you appear shitter than you otherwise would be. Broncos were the best they've been in a long time and it allowed us to get on a roll and make metres, have your guys retreating, which presented the opportunities. Shaun Johnson just didn't have the room to work with.

I think you should be proud of your players. I bet if any of you were told you'd be 5/1 for the season you'd be over the fucking moon. One bad game doesn't undo all that, and like I said, gives you guys an honesty session before your top-of-the-table clash next week.

Thanks again for the welcome. It's been a blast. It really is funny how similar our fanbases are, I was pissing myself the whole time here.

Keep the faith.

Not all lost with our reserves because like others have said ligi sao, mason lino, and charnze played well. Albert vete deserves a call up too so there are players trying their hardest in isp.

Our game plan works when none of our forwards get injured cos we've only been carrying 1 middle forward and 1 second row on the bench for the last 2 rounds.

Tevaga is good for covering 9 and shifting the teams speed in 13 but he shouldn't be playing big minutes. If Tuivasa Sheck is injured, let him recover. Why carry Gelling on the bench when he provides no impact or variety? Get another middle forward in there asap. We need some physical dominance in the middle. If our backline gets injured, Hiku can cover 1-6 and we can move Tohu Harris, Mannering or a 2nd row bench forward to cover centre. Not like their defence will be much more dodgy than Hikus lol.

Also, Lisone needs to stay on the bench as impact at the moment. His inside coverage or lack thereof for the first try set the wrong tone and he doesn't have the leg drive or size to make an impact when everyone is fresh. Afoa was a better choice as starter.

Other than that, 5/1 is a great start and SK should be able to sort it out.

Don’t understand why Lisone started. He is miles better as an impact player off the bench. Offered little as a starting prop. Gelling on the bench is fuckin retarded selection and a waste of a bench spot.
Our defence was poor tonight. Line speed was non existent. Broncos were making easy 60-70 metres per set compared to our 40-50. ThInk 3 of their tries came from poor missed tackles. Stuff we haven’t seen in the past 5 weeks.
Our outside backs didn’t have much impact getting our sets started - exception being Maumalo. Broncos did a good job of closing us down.
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck solid on attack but reverted back to his turnstile old self in defence.

Tohu Harris Harris was immense in a losing effort. Tavaga showed the signs of one too many weeks in first grade. Would give him a spell to freshen up.

Our hit ups had plenty of effort but were not always smart. Sure Paasi broke clean through once, but our props running full pace at three defenders with no footwork or support decoys is not what our first 5 weeks was built on.

Have to wonder if Johnson was carrying an injury, otherwise his head was totally not in the game.

Cheers Warriors fans. Good game for us. Not so for you guys. Just signed up here to post my congratulations to all that visited the broncos forum for their conduct. Hope your season goes well till we play you again lol. .... and I want to see the broncos banner

Jeepers that really was a shit game for the warriors. Not bagging or suggesting knee jerk changes but, is mannering the best second rower on that left edge, and Blair/tevaga? Dunno. Thinking too much about it. Moving on next game 8 hours sleep beforehand and - Dwagons

Agreed. How Vete isnt playing is beyond me, hell be off to union soon. Lino to a club who will pay his worrh. Charnse the same. The Warriors just got complacent and I feel players like Shaun Johnson breed complacency, hes the ultimate Jafa, expects good things to happen for him for no other reason than he can be brilliant at times, but his times are too far too far between. We are the second best defensive team. I think we should trial Lino and Shaun Johnson swapping games. If Princess doesnt like it, find another club, hes not neededed, our best performance thsi year was without him. not trolling, im serious. Shaun Johnson hasnt been amazing for 3 years. He was amazing in his first year with another half who could do 75% of his job for him so he could just play touch rugby.

Vete though is bizarre how hes not even making the bench. Hes too smart, too talented and he wont wait around for a good offer like Lino has.

We lost to a team who were better than us. Better than Johnson, better than Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, better than Luke, better than Green, possibly not better than harris. Embarrassing.

My opinion is every one of those players will lift their game except Johnson, not hating, but seen it time in time out.

I think that ends Greens hopes at SoO. He played ok, but still made mistakes.

Harris was good, mannering was horrible.

Such a good team having a bad game. That happens.

I expect us to beat the Dragons. Much easier game than the Broncos.

Great game Broncos. We didn't help ourselves but their gameplan was fantastic. Really nullified our backline metres (make that overall metres) held on to the pill and kicked well.

We looked like the Roosters in round 4. Got a bit too comfortable and paid the price.
Wouldn't be surprised if we win next week!
I wouldn't be surprised if this increases our chances of upsetting the Dragons next week. Now the coaching staff have a flat performance to analyse and give them things to work on. We should of lost the Canberra game but got lucky so that would of also given them something to rip into them about. The players now also have a poor performance to make up for after going through some good performance.

Its a shame we lost as the build up to the Dragons game would have been great with two 5-0 teams. We now need to refocus and make up for a flat effort.

Johnson was pretty average, as plenty of you have said, but it might’ve helped if we actually gave him the ball a bit more.
Not sure if it was the game plan, or not, but Green was heavily involved and the ball barely went Johnson’s way even as second receiver.
